Title says it all. What's your favorite year of WCW and why? Just curious because I'm watching these cause I'm younger and didn't get to
watch these cause I'm only 16. Right now, I'm starting at 1997.
So my question to you: What was your favorite year of WCW and why?

Kinda hard for me to choose just one year. I really enjoyed 89-90. But also 96-97 and the first half of 94. 93 was good too. 91,95, and parts of 99 were less enjoyable to me. I give 2000 a pass simply because some of the wrestlecrap that aired was (unintentionally) hilarious to me.

I find wcw 97-2001 excluding 2000 (except Steiner vs Goldberg) to be extremely entertaining despite the shitty booking in 98 and 99

1997. That was the best WCW ever was. Yes it was. I find WCW 1997 to be great, Man it was cooking......and the return of Sting and build to Starrcade? Just awesome. I enjoyed WCW from May 1996 too but the first part of the year was painfully dry with just a few bright spots to be had. I also enjoyed 1998 but man the cracks were becoming apparent and I was crushed to see Sting go back to the mid card so Savage & Hogan could feud and the Wolfpac could be born. |

1989 had a lot of greatness
But 1992 was my favorite.
96-98 was exciting and shocking at the time but hasn't aged well with me.

Definitely 97 but I really enjoyed a large portion of 98. I would agree that the main event scene was a bit of a mess but everything underneath was down right awesome imo.

My favorite year starts at Bash at the Beach '96 and goes into '97 up to Stings' return at Clash of the Champions. After that it started to go downhill for me with the nWo getting too bloated and the constant nWo beatdowns of everybody. |

Summer of 1996 to the end of 1997. I loved the creation of the nWo & the first year of it.

1996/97....NWO was at its peak, loved Pipers feud with Hogan and the NWO, Stings feud with Hogan and the NWO had so much promise and should have been better but the build up still made it awesome......

I really liked 94, but that was when I truly started watching WCW, but 97 also an amazing year, you had Sting and Hogan, the NWO, DDP was way over, but 94 was amazing to me for some reason, Flair, Steamboat, Rude, The Boss, Vader, Austin, Rhodes, just loved the roster
