Did anyone ever have an issue with elite legs feeling like they are twisting the peg holding them on as opposed to moving freely. It happened with my elite Mr. Perfect and basically ruined the figure and now it seems to be happening to my Elite Matt Hardy (purple one) does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I have a lot elites and legends with that problem. I tried soaking a figure in hot water from the microwave. The hot water freed up the leg movement but once it cooled, they were stuck again.

Yeah, my Legends Mr. Perfect did the same thing.. It is ruined. Basically a waste of my money..
Just yesterday I bought a basic BIG E that had a shoulder joint that was too tight. Even after hot water moving the arm was going to break it.
It's a shame for the price paid on these figures, Mattel can't do anything about it.

I have a bunch of Elites like this. My L1 Austin gave me the most trouble. His leg was stuck in such an awkward position that the best I could get him to stand was like he was about to bend down and pick something up. When I heard about the hot water/pose/freezer method I tried that but the leg always ended up back in the same position. After about two months of doing it almost everyday, I got it to finally be able to stand somewhat straight. He still looks hunchbacked though.

Sounds like mostly a problem with older Elites. Perhaps Mattel has figured out a fix to the issue? Then again, that Big E basic isn't that old.

My sheik has it too. But I always chalked that up to the sheik not being able to walk in real life. My Mr. Perfect is almost useless (at least stands up) and my elite Matt hardy broke today as I was trying to see how bad it was....furious was an understatement.

Did ypu try letting them cool off and set for a day in either a split or seating position? All the ones that I had that issue with (every Piper/Orton 2-Pack and I have about 5 of them. lol) all worked fine when I let them cool off and set for 24 hours in either of those positions before moving them.

I'll give that a try. I always let them cool in a straight leg position.
