I noticed while I was going through some of the TNA Jakks today on RSC that is the American Sting Deluxe figure is only $7.99 brand new. Do you think it is worth buying? Will it be worth anything In the future?

it's an amazing figure...I will not sell it but it could be worth something 50 years from now
it's worth getting simply for a collection

Honestly? I don't think so. I got mine for £5.99 two years ago and if its still that price then I think it'll go up a little but not into the price range of being expensive.

I really want this figure but I keep reading that it is about the same size as Mattell's Elite Diesel. ):

Will it be worth anything? I'm sure that collectors who missed out on might want to pay a little extra for it if it became rare, but there are so many of these in circulation online right now, it might be a while before you can charge even $25 for it MOC. If you're buying a figure, you should buy it because you like it or you're a fan of the wrestler. And it's so cheap right now on RS, just buy it! I really want this figure but I keep reading that it is about the same size as Mattell's Elite Diesel. ): Mattel isn't the be-all-end-all of wrestling figures. Jakks DA figures are made in there own scale so none look right next to any other type of figures in the Jakks line either.

The only Sting figures that are worth money are the Jakks RI Sting that was only sold at Walgreens and Toybiz TNA Series 5. I dont know if the DI USA Sting will be worth a lot in the future, but if you collect DA/DI figures, that is a great one to have in your collection.

I still need this figure. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. But I can tell you I am looking forward to buying it. Any early WCW or late JCP era Sting is a welcomed one. Admittedly I probably would've jumped all over it if it were RA style. But DI is growing on me. As for its future value, that's a tough one. As new collectors discover Jakks down the line,I could see a bump in value. To what degree I don't know

Wrong hobby if you are buying for future worth. As for the figure it is by far my favorite Jakks DA styled figure.
