How do you keep your figures dust free? I was thinking of picking up a feather duster, but I'm wondering if it will do the figures justice and eliminate dust in the smaller crevices?

Honestly I just dont worry about it. If it ever gets really bad I will give them a good bath. Not there yet though.

I just try to rearrange as often as possible, dusting as I go.

I generally use a canned compressed air computer duster thingie (that's the technical term.) If you dust your figures every few months the dust comes off pretty well. If you have a decent amount of buildup or the sculpt has a lot of nooks and crannies a warm water bath will do the trick safely. Sometimes I just use a barely moistened paper towel.

Honestly, Ducky has the best answer. Condensed are is always easy to use, though don't hold it in the same place for too long or you'll freeze the thing.

They need to come out with clear display cases for 7 inch figures like they do for model cars. That would be the best solution because you just dust the case and not knock over the figs and they stay dust free.

I use an air duster (canned air) for a quick dusting. For something more substantial an air duster, a soft rag or towel, and if I am really going all out a soft paint brush. For small areas that a rag or towel can't reach. And I don't worry about them falling over cause if I dust them, I pick them up to clean them. Do the same to my masterpiece Transformers and Kotobukiya statues. Hope that helps.

I keep mine in a glass cabinet, the door of which doesn't get opened unless something new is going in,
That's easily the best way to beat dust.

I display them loose and I have never had a problem with dust before. I've noticed some collections on here get really dusty, but I've yet to encounter that problem.

The unlimited energy of my Ryback collection scares dust away so no worries.
On a serious note, since I'm constantly getting new stuff, I'm constantly changing things up on my display. I keep a rag handy for a quick dusting before I reset it.

I just let them get dusty. My parents think I play with my figures so the dustier they are the quicker they shut up.

dust them every 1-2 weeks. it means taking them all down and re setting them each time. otherwise your figures can get dust damage.

I've never dusted them and never thought about it, 90% of collection not moved in 3-4yrs and I can't see any dust! I guess I'm just lucky
