Just passing along for those that haven't seen it, but WWE Main Event is listed on the WWE Network schedule as being shown LIVE this TUESDAY at 7p. Probably another test run of a live show on the network after some of the issues people had during NXT.

I'll probably still just watch Wednesday on ION. I don't feel like dealing with a more than likely crappy stream again. If they were smart they would have done SmackDown.

If they were smart they would have done SmackDown.I presume their deal with NBC wouldn't allow that...not even recent episodes of Raw or Smackdown are available on the network, much less a live one. Anyway, thanks for passing along the news, OP. I look forward to watching.

It's a nice incentive to the Network but it will hardly make a difference to the quality of the show.

Ideally, the WWE would announce a big match for the show tomorrow night on Raw in order to pop the viewership.

I was just thinking about this. They should really work it into their next TV deal that Smackdown is aired on the Network live on Tuesdays and then repeated on Friday, or whatever. Would definitely sell the Network even more than what we have, especially if they work on making Smackdown more relevant.

Better have a big match as a hook otherwise I don't see too many people caring. I'll try to catch if I can.

I think they should do more of these, like have a special live show on a Saturday to see if they're able to fix the issues with the live stream. I was watching the Steve Austin documentary last Saturday and it froze up on me one or two times for like 3 seconds. I don't want WrestleMania to freeze up on me once, so they still have some issues to fix, but it's not all that bad now. I'm still scared about WrestleMania doing the same thing as NXT.

Turning down many millions of dollars of guaranteed TV revenue would be the opposite of smart. Smackdown, a show that's already free to watch on TV, isn't going to draw many subscribers to a paid network. And certainly nowhere near the amount that would counterbalance the loss of the TV deal.
