Gibbs cars finish 1-2-3 in the first race since the passing of big Joe's son, with the winner driving JD's old jersey number. And yet commentators insist right afterward you couldn't script this. Hmm... I don't care I believe Putin lol

I don't care I believe Putin lol [br I don’t blame you for being skeptical, tbh. There’s so much that has happened in NASCAR history that are eyebrow raises. Hendrick running 1-2-3 in the ‘97 500 when Rick was sick, Dale winning the first race at Daytona since his dad’s passing, Jimmie winning Atlanta in ‘04, etc. I’m not saying that all were / weren’t but conspiracy theories start with a grain of truth, haha.

That was a rough day for SHR 4 for 4 being in crashes, hope next week has a better outcome. Can't say Hamlin was in my top wants for a winner of the 500 but glad Joe got to remember JD this way.

I'm glad a JGR guy won, but god damn the mid-20s run for MTJ all day before he got caught up in the Big One was bulls***. He can't be doing that. P35 finish for the 19 is not gonna cut it.

Denny has his first winless season, comes back and wins the Daytona 500

Anyone else as thoroughly entertained, as I am, by Logano being a little whiny bitch?

Sucks Truex couldn’t get get the win but a second place finish is always good to see. Nice to see him still running well with Gibbs so far

Glad all of SHR ran better and all finished in the top 10 but still a little disappointed that they can lead early but something seems like always happen and can't finish. Ive enjoyed watching Hemric since he started with BK, he looks like he can be a star in the sport if he keeps running like this.

Tons of heat from Mike Joy toward McCloud after the pit road incident that ruined the 47's good run.

I agree he deserved some of it but imo Preece should've known to pay a little closer attention to the other cars on pit row, but with a lot of the top contenders getting caught speeding I understand he was worried about it. No matter what happened Preece has impressed me so far I wasnt expecting much from him I thought him running good in Xfinity was all because of the equipment he was driving but he's looked good so far.

I was jumping up and down, with 2 to go when MTJ closed onto Keselowski's bumper. If Stinkhouse would have moved, he wasn't racing for the win. He was holding up a higher placed car, so he should have moved up and let MTJ by to battle closer for the win. Always believed that if you are off the lead lap, and in front of a car fighting to win, you should cede the track position and let them by. Onto Vegas, where Truex has historically run very fairly well, especially in recent years. 2017, at LVMS, he was the first to sweep 2 stages and win the race. A 2nd place in the Chase last September at Vegas. Hoping he can get the first win of the season next week.

Didn't NASCAR have an issue with drivers doing this kind of qualifying a few years ago?

Qualifying was pretty dumb today. I'd rather have single-car runs back over this.

If it was Dale Jr who criticized his driver's performance, nobody would have a problem with it. But its Kyle so everything he does is wrong *sarcasm*

The race was entertaining today imo not great but had some good racing for the lead throughout the second and last stages. I hope Harvick figures out what he or the team is not doing right at the end of these races he ran so good in the first stage again today and just couldnt close the deal once again, fourth not bad but with Penske running like this and Busch and Truex good as they are not even counting the young guys its gonna be hard to get to the championship round this year.
