F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen would be better than Stewart if he wanted to pursue NASCAR. Raikkonens first NASCAR start was a Top 15 at Charlotte, plus he's won in F1 and World Rally. I would kill to see a Stewart vs Raikkonen triathlon of racecars just because of how talented both are and how quickly they are able to adapt to a new car. AJ Foyt says back off kids. I wish Jeff Gordon would have had one year in indy car.... he would have dominated.
If not, then I wish he would have raced the Indy 500 at least once. If he won... I would go crazy, that would cement him as GOAT.

AJ & Mario are both great. They've won races in just about every division they've raced in. Stewart has won Championships in just about ever division he's raced in.

Dudes r/NASCAR on Imgur were doing a Dogecoin raiser to sponsor Josh Wise at Talladega and they actually got enough money to do it.
I hope there is a Dogecoin-r/NASCAR diecast.

Who would've thought having fresh tires and getting five minutes of television time would equal a $500,000 sponsorship. BTW, think it's pretty clear why they rarely have sponsors. That's a crapload of money for an awful team..

What really blows my mind, especially working in that area, is the two biggest auto parts chains are Advance Auto & Autozone and neither of them make a push to be a big time sponsor on cars. Even though apparently Duralast is the "official brakes of NASCAR"

Even though apparently Duralast is the "official brakes of NASCAR" I wish more companies would jump into the sport because their competitors are there. There aren't too many companies that have their competition on the track beside them. You've really only got: Lowe's & Kobalt Tools vs. Home Depot & Husky Tools, Budwesier vs. Miller Lite, FedEx vs. UPS but UPS is leaving at the end of the season. The coolest aspect of Jimmie and Matt battling for the championship in 2013 was the fact that Lowe's and Home Depot are competing in business. Host Gator should be sponsoring someone because GoDaddy is there. Hersey should be sponsor someone because M&M's is there. Guess that's just the sport these days. |

"Small piece of metal found to be in Hamlin’s eye. Doctors were able to remove. A CT Scan did not find any other complications." He's cleared for Martinsville.
