I wish more companies would jump into the sport because their competitors are there. There aren't too many companies that have their competition on the track beside them. You've really only got: Lowe's & Kobalt Tools vs. Home Depot & Husky Tools, Budwesier vs. Miller Lite, FedEx vs. UPS but UPS is leaving at the end of the season. The coolest aspect of Jimmie and Matt battling for the championship in 2013 was the fact that Lowe's and Home Depot are competing in business. Host Gator should be sponsoring someone because GoDaddy is there. Hershey should be sponsor someone because M&M's is there. Guess that's just the sport these days. Yeah I don't know what happened to Hershey, they kinda just left after 2007. Host Gator was on Nemechek's car but they left like right away too. A lot of companies stopped sponsoring NASCAR's, John Deere, Dodge Dealers, Tide, Ask.com, Whirlpool, Kmart, Georgia Pacific, Hot Wheels, Ford Quality Care, Snap-on Tools only sponsors certain teams, like RCR, Ditch Witch, RCA, Dirt Devil, Exxon Superflo, Havoline, Craftsman Tools, Yellow Freight, Schneider National, Waste Management, Domino's Pizza, GM Goodwrench, Purolator, Winn Dixie, Helig Meyers, Crisco, USMC, USCG, US Navy, Air Force, Yum Brands (KFC, Long John Silvers, Taco Bell) also stopped sponsoring cars too.

The dude who owns Front Row is a big franchise owner for Yum Brands, so he got permission from those companies to use their logos. He's not getting sponsorship dollars from it. Who is sponsored by RCA?

I also would like to mention that Hormel Foods Spam brand used to sponsor a car back in the late 90s

We gotta remember that a lot of these companies arent in good financial standing either. The economy hurt a lot of sponsors. Kmart/Sears/Craftsman files for bankruptcy every 2 years. Just about every Winn-Dixie around me has closed down. Havoline has merged with Chevron. Chevron cars (which are Havoline/Texaco) havent had a decent driver since Dale Jarrett was around.
Also there is a lot of sponsors that get locked in with a good driver/team and just stay on. Lowes w/ Johnson, Mars, Home Depot, FedEx with Gibbs etc

I would also like to add the thousand other sponsors that don't sponsor anymore. Levi Garrett, Kodiak, Folgers, Butt Paste, Viagra, 1-800-call-ATT (With Carrot tops face splattered on the hood), and of course lets not forget Depends.

Juan threw that race because he didn't want to win in a Depends car. Also tobacco sponsors are not allowed anymore because you know, let's limit potential sponsors even more.

Never understood why tobacco sponsors werent allowed AFTER Winston stopped sponsoring NASCAR. When NEXTEL took over they adios any & every phone service that they could.

I cant think of one, but was there ever a smoking tobacco sponsor for a car while Winston was around? I know there were quite a few chewing. I could have sworn Marlboro had a car that was driven by and Indy regular.

I miss when sponsors were committed to an entire season with their driver instead of splitting it with another company. There aren't too many sponsors that are on-board for the entire season as primary sponsorship anymore. I'm pretty sure that Lowe's is the only one remaining since Miller Lite scaled back for Alliance Truck Parts and WURTH on the deuce.

Also,It bugs the ever loving crapoutta me when a car doesnt have the same sponsor on the hood as well as the side panels. Stewart's all black car from last year is by far my favorite cause its straight Mobil 1. Not Bass Pro Shop/Code 3/Mobil/Tracker Boats/stickers from a quarter machine.

70% chance of rain for Friday's practice sessions and 80% Chance of rain for the CWTS race on Saturday. Mother nature hates NASCAR.
