This kinda makes me feel like the early 00s when we had the young guns coming in. Harvick, Stewart, Busch, Johnson were rookies and guys like Dal Sr, Rusty, Mark Martin, Elliott were fading back. Yeah I'm getting the same feeling, I don't think guys like Harvick,Kyle,Denny etc are done yet but I been saying for years that guys like Bell,Custer and Redick are gonna be great when they get to Cup and they've even surpassing my expectations. The sport has so much young talent coming in it should be in great hands when those older guys retire. |

Man Hemric was so close to getting his first career win. Im glad AJ got another chance at a full time ride and doing great but I really want to see Hemric check that first win off. I can't believe how bad of luck Herbst is having so far,hopefully he can turn it around soon at this pace he might have to get a win to get in the playoffs.

So happy for Kyle,Hendrick has a stacked young lineup they gonna be contenders for years and years to come. Even meant more seeing him do it in Ricky's old colors.

Man Ty Gibbs has been really impressive in his first couple starts. I know a lot of people pointing to his equipment and I agree he's got great equipment but I don't see how anybody can watch that guy and doesn't see a future star. I can see Cindric running away with this title this year,well I guess you can't run away anymore with the one race championship but I see him leading in every category by a large margin at the end. Imo he was ready for Cup this year,as good as he is at road courses I can see him getting in the playoffs his rookie year easily. Its gonna be really fun for the next 10+ years watching him and Chase at the road courses going head to head(never thought I would say Chase Elliott is this dominant at the RCs).

I know Larson only won the one race but he's had one of the fastest cars every week whenever he finally gets some luck and things go his way he's gonna be real scary. I'm starting to worry some about Harvick after the last 7 or 8 years he's had and now he can't run in the top 5 at his best track.

I thought Larson would do good when he got back but he's on another level from anybody else,he's gonna be really fun to watch next week on the dirt.

I was really wishing Smoke would come back for this race and go for that 50th win but guess I'm gonna have to hope for a Briscoe win or Stewie getting a upset win in his debut.
I'm excited for this weekend,I would guess its gonna come down to Larson,Bell,A.Dillon or maybe Briscoe but Larson gotta be the clear favorite especially after what happened yesterday.

Due to weather concerns, NASCAR has preemptively postponed today's events until Monday.
Trucks will be scheduled back ahead of the Cup event, starting at noon ET on FS1. Cup will follow, beginning at 4 ET on FOX.

Curious as to how "dry" the track needs to be for them to run. High is only around 60, its not gonna magically dry out by tomorrow afternoon.

That wasn't bad but it wasn't what I expected. I rather have them go to a real dirt track if they wanted one on the schedule but we'll see if it gets better next year.
