Now that it has been announced what decently big names do you think will compete in it, and who do you think will/should win?
I think the only way to honor Andre is to have Big Show win it. It makes sense for him to be in it since he's doing nothing now to be in a feud at Mania. If it is an annual yearly thing than I honestly don't care who wins, but i'm thinking it'll only be this year. We all know Ryback/Axel/Big E will be in it but who else do you think will?
I'm personally afraid that good possible feuds like Sheamus/Christian and Cesaro/Swagger will just get thrown into the battle royal pointlessly.
Thoughts?

Man I LOVE this announcement. I was just watching the battle royal from back in the day at the old Wrestlemania's and wished it would be something more annual. Hope it's a way to get a push to someone who needs it - and a way to get a few guys some notoriety while ALSO having everyone on the card who is on the roster in some way, shape or form.
Let Ziggler or Cesaro close it out.

The Sheamus/Christian feud has to be over after tonight... right? Like what would be the reason to put them together again? For Christian's sake, I hope they both move on.
On that note, I think Sheamus is a very good bet to win this battle royal.

I love that there's gonna be a battle royal at Mania. I think the Battle Royal will include a mix of current guys and legends

Really looking forward to the match and think it would be a good idea moving forward as and annual event at Wrestlemania sense the Money in the bank match now has its own PPV.I just hope that if it is and annual event that after WM xXx it goes down to just a 20 man battle royal(trying not to make it as similar to the Royal Rumble match and more of a call back to the old school battle royals of the 70's and 80's)which I think would be awesome.
As far as this first one goes I think its and extremely safe bet that the feud between Sheamus/Christian,Cesaro/Swagger and The Shield stuff will all be thrown into the match up.Also think that this match might be a good way to bring back Rob Van Dam and and old schooler like Warrior for one finale big moment.
As far as who's going to win I think theirs only three options in Big Show,Cesaro and Reigns.I think the safe bet would be on Big Show sense it would honor the memory of Andre the most and also sense Hogan is close friends with him and it makes sense that if this is more then just a one off thing that a GIANT would win the first one.

Again if I had to pick a winner I would give it to Big Show.In his nearly 20 year career and 15 year career in the WWE he really hasn't had that defining moment or match.If book right this could be his moment.Plus it would be a good move to give the 1st win(if this is going to be and annual thing at Wrestlemania) to a veteran and and established star like Big Show.

If this is going to be an annual thing than I would love to see the Big Show have a slow build to winning this event. If it isn't then I would have Show win it this year.

I kind of like the idea. It gives guys like Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Damien Sandow, Goldust, Ryback, and others with no direction an opportunity to compete at WrestleMania XXX.

I'm indifferent about the battle royal, but I'm ECSTATIC to see Andre the Giant getting some love here! I feel more times than not, he's often forgotten in WWE history. Now, hopefully we can get a few new shirts & a proper documentary on the WWE network!

It's about time that Andre The Giant makes his return!!
I swear he's been on the injured list since 1993. Good to see him return into the battle royal at Wrestlemania XXX!!!
