It's not just the wwe fanbase. This is how the internet is.

It was the same way with people wanting the brand split to be over and for the world titles to be unified.
Fans wanted it till they got it now they want things to go back to the way they were.

Wrestling fans (myself included) are a fickle bunch, Who didn't see a Daniel Bryan backlash coming?! I've said all along once the Bryan fans got what they wanted, momentum would slow & they'd move on...
If last nights crowd was anything to go by? The tides already changing...

I found it crazy how quiet the fans were during Bryan's segment on RAW.
They've been frothing at the mouth for this for eight months since SummerSlam, they get the DREAM segment with Bryan getting it all... and they've gone limp.
WWE fans have never known what they really want, that's why they're not always considered in creative decisions.

Every fanbase is like this, comics, tv series, movies, people complain about songs of their favorite musician, or that the writing is awful in Dr. Who/Walking Dead/whatever series you watch, the gameplay/graphics complains, the console wars, etc. The best way to enjoy what you like is to ignore the opinions of others.

The problem is that the WWE has spent months and months making Daniel Bryan look weak and incompetent - and one night is gonna change all that? He won the title at SummerSlam, promptly lost it, won it again for a day, and has been undermined and emasculated since. I want to see months of booking that isn't all about putting "The Authority" over everyone else and letting all the talent in the WWE shine. I don't know why so many fans are still trusting of the WWE after they've pulled the football away one too many times. I guess it's hope, but I've run out of it for the modern day PG Universe Era stuff.

Since the Rumble he has looked like a killer so weak and incompetent is an incorrect assessment.

I know you didn't see it because you are boycotting WWE, but Bryan definitely didn't look weak, undermined or emasculated last night. Know who did? The Authority.

That dead ass crowd killed the Bryan segment last night. They sucked all night. Bryan got HUGE reactions at the Rumble, Chamber, the night he turned on The Wyatts, the RAW before TLC in that ceremony.

So I'm on the dirtsheets reading the comments, everyone wanted Bryan in the Mania main event, now that he has a chance (Come on, it's pretty obvious that he'll win over Trips) they complain about Bryan getting the chance?! Everytime WWE does what the fans want the fans change their mind. What's up whit that? I personally don't mind Bryan getting the chance, I'm not a big Bryan fan or so, not too big on technical wrestlers (Bret Hart is not even on my top 50) but I can't deny how over he is so I don't mind it. I think the whole "Yes!" thing is cool, awesome to see the whole crowd do it. But why complain when you get what you want? Also, I was on Twitter and I see Renee Young getting death threats because she's dating Dean Ambrose and like... Is the whole fanbase really this messed up? Sure, who am I to say right? I sit here and jokingly post Ambrose gifs to get some hate. Pretty fun thing to do in the RAW thread. But seriously, what is up with todays fans? Did I just notice this or have the WWE (or WWF back in the day) fanbase always been like this? Civility and understanding have NEVER been characteristic of any wrestling fan base (generally speaking). Think of it like this. Do you expect manners among professional sports fans? At least in their fan base you have a decent percentage of highly educated and hard-working individuals. Our fan base on other hand is composed of mainly kids and a lot of adults who, for lack of a better phrase, created the stereotype that wrestling fans have today. I'm not saying all adult wrestling fans are like that... But more of them are than not. Also, the indecisiveness and flakiness is nothing new either. The fans will hate what they see, love when it changes, but quickly get sick and start the cycle over again. And then when enough years have passed, they'll moan and groan about how they wish things were how they used to be (where they still ironically moaned and groaned). That being said, I do give complainers a pass nowadays because the product has in fact gotten increasingly awful.

I noticed that more and more people want Sting in WWE. 99.9% of them probably never saw a match of his. The IWC automatically thinks since Sting Left TNA he's going to WWE. well it's speculated that Sting resigned with TNA

The biggest issue I see with human beings nowadays is hate. We as a collective just LOVE to HATE EVERYTHING. and we LOVE to TELL everyone how much we HATE them or HATE _____ (thing) I don't get it. It's like so many people are just comfortable being douchebags. Especially on the internet where it was funny like 15 years ago when the internet was first getting going. Now it's not absolute. Nothing is. But the internet is filled with bile, disgusting pigs and really trash of society. It's a shame really, if half those people just took a ing chill pill every once and awhile this world might be a better place to live. oh and I've come to realize after being a fan of this industry for 24 years.....wrestling fans will NEVER be truly completely happy.

The WWE is actually getting a lot better lately, some fans just can't really appreciate anything. I wouldn't say the WWE is as good as it could be right now, because it's not. But, it's nothing worth continually crying about on the internet over and over.

I hate the sky is falling and I'm never going to watch again that gets posted on here sometimes. If I hated the WWE as much as it appears some people on here do, I wouldn't ing waste my valuable time watching and posting about it

To be fair, for everything hated by one person on this site somebody else will love it.
Resultantly, there will always be two extremes of an opinion on anything. So, in that sense, someone will always bitch about something... yes.
But I don't necessarily see the same people bitching about everything constantly.. most can appreciate some of the product at least I think; otherwise they'd not watch.

In terms of never satisfying wrestling fans, there are perfect examples right here on this board. People complain that WWE never builds new stars and they rehash the same main events (which they do) but now they're elevating a new star in Bray Wyatt, doing what people ask for, now everyone's complaining that "Husky Harris" is wrestling John Cena at Wrestlemania. If John Cena is in the main event, people bitch; if John Cena is helping establish a star, people bitch. You're never going to please everyone, you're going to find people who bitch just to bitch. In terms of crazy fans, you're gonna find that in all sports. Look at this past season in the NFL with Texans QB Matt Schaub. He had a string of absolutely awful, awful games going something like 4 or 5 games in a row throwing an interception for a touchdown. People went to his house and were burning things on his lawn; it's a ing game people. I understand people take their sports, and wrestling, serious but some of these things people do take it way over the line of fandom and into psychotic.

"You can't please all of the people all of the time"
I for one am very happy with this Bryan WM outcome. Some others aren't. Who cares.
