WWE thinks if Punk can go to LA to appear on a show he should have been able to go to RAW in Chicago to talk things over.
WWE is uncertain (and to me scared) as to what Punk will say regarding his WWE status on the show.

He's been on Talking Dead before and I'm certain he'd only be talking about TWD and not saying two words on WWE

Since they are calling him Phil Brooks and not CM Punk, I honestly doubt anything about wrestling will be said.

Iâd love for one of the audience members to walk up to the mic and say, âMr. Brooks, what the hell were you thinking leaving the WWE?? PIPE BOMB!!â

Talking Dead is neither the time nor the place to talk about wrestling and I'm pretty sure Punk will avoid any mention of the WWE during his appearance. I hope the audience do the same.
Honestly, sounds like typical rumor mill BS. If Punk had anything to say publicly I bet he would have already on Twitter.

He's not going to say anything. And I'd be surprised if any of the audience would as well. The producers would probably say something to the audience before hand. I don't think they need to worry though. The Walking Dead fans are very loyal and rabid about the show and they wouldn't care about the WWE.

I don't see him saying anything either way. But can't WWE prevent him from making televised appearances since he is still under contract?

I was thinking this the other day, surely he's already in breach of contract?! Why haven't they sued him already?! They obviously think he's coming back or they don't want to go down the legal route to keep him as sweet as possible to negotiate a comeback. Either way CM Punk is holding all the cards & WWE of course don't like that.

Can you blame them? It's completely unprofessional, he should consider himself extremely lucky that he's not being sued for breach of contract.
Vince is obviously a much better person than people give him credit for.

Since CM Punk is in breach of contract, he isn't collecting money from merchandise as well as collecting paychecks from the WWE. In the end, CM Punk is doing more harm to himself by walking out and being in breach of contract. I don't think the WWE would even file a lawsuit knowing that CM Punk's contract is almost up.

Its Austin allover again, CM Punk said in his documentary that financially he was set for life, He just doesn't care about the money anymore or the fans he wants to headline Wrestlemania & retire. If all is to be believed this man is one of the most selfish wrestlers to ever step foot in a WWE ring. (And that's coming from someone who considered himself a fan)

I don't think he'd be on if there was a chance of someone getting smart and trying to make him talk on live TV. That was probably part of it, "I came here to talk about the show, not WWE."

Stupid dirt sheets. This isn't news at all. I sincerely doubt anyone at WWE is butt hurt over this.

I'd like to see him do an episode of the show next year. A guest character for a week or two, or at least a featured zombie.

I'm going to star a conspiracy/this is a work rumor...
CM Punk walks out and ignores the whole show and shoots on WWE. This is all part of the build up for WWE to make the move to AMC. hahahhaaha
