I've seen a few reports around the web of cuts, edits, theme overdubs, etc. and wanted to make a thread so we can collect these findings.
For example i've heard some PPV's from WWF and WCW are home video versions and that New Jack has been cut out of almost every match he in that is on the Network.
Anything you guys can confirm would be great and i would appreciate it.

one big one for me - SummerSlam 93. they had this "Hero" song and music video on the PPV. it was actually shown twice,I believe:
on the Network,it's been replaced with some generic sounding rock song.

also,the WrestleMania 1 theme songs that were used originally were replaced with songs from the Wrestling Album on the later video and DVD releases. I was hoping the Network would have the original songs back on,but they continue with the dubbed over ones.

I believe the song ''Hero'' was done in house, so i'm confused as to why it was dubbed over.

The one that hurt me the most was the overdub of '' The Man Called Sting'' theme. Wonder why they can't work out the rights too a little song like this, not like it's a popular music track.

There is an on-going lawsuit involving the music featured on the WCW Slam Jam 1 album. Here is a partial list of changes I noticed: Royal Rumble 2002 - The main PPV theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Cocky" by Kid Rock) - Tazz' theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Just Another Victim" by Cypress Hill) - A Don't Try This At Home promo was inserted after the Undisputed Championship match. - Maven's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Tattoo" by Big Mother Thruster) - Saturn's theme was dubbed over (Originally used his WWF RAW for X-Box theme) Royal Rumble 2003 - The Dudley Boyz' theme was dubbed over with "We're Coming Down" (Originally used "Bomshell" by Powerman 5000) - During the Triple H/Scott Steiner match video buildup, WWF scratch logos weren't blurred. - Edge's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Never Gonna Stop" by Rob Zombie) - Rosey & Jamal's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "3 Minutes" by 2 Skinnee J's) - Maven's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Tattoo" by Big Mother Thruster) WrestleMania I - The opening video was dubbed over (Originally used "Easy Lover" by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins) - Wendi Richter's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper) - Liberace's theme was dubbed over (I can't identify what was used originally) - Hulk Hogan's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor) - The closing theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Axel F" by Harold Faltermeyer) WrestleMania IV - "The Rock" Don Muraco's theme was dubbed Over (Originally used "Jesus Christ Superstar") - Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Sirus" by The Alan Parsons Project) - "The Natural" Butch Reed's theme was dubbed over (Originally used "Jive Soul Bro") WrestleMania XV - During Sable's entrance, they showed her Playboy cover on the live airing, the kept the camera on Sable and the commentary was muted for that portion WrestleMania X-Seven - During Duke 'The Dumpster' Droese's entrance, Bobby Heenan saying "WWF" was muted - Mean Gene Okerlund was dubbed over (Originally used "Tutti Frutti") - Michael P.S. I watched Wrestlemania X-7 the other day and there was no sound at the end of the Undertaker Triple H match.

Anything you guys can confirm would be great and i would appreciate it. I've been watching all the ECW PPVs in order (I'm up to mid 1999) and have seen several new Jack matches and run-ins. In fact, I was surprised that all the f-bombs and other bad language by both wrestlers and fan chants are intact in all their glorious offensiveness. Only editing I've noticed on the ECW PPVs is the changing of some entrance music. |

Chopped The Big Event all up, hell they even chopped out one of the Machines hot come backs in the middle of the damn match! The show is overall ruined the way it was chopped up.

Yeah, mostly just the music. DDPs and Jericho's in WCW standout. The music for ECW is total sh*t. I expected as much, as they've done it for the DVDs as well, but the music for guys like Raven, Sandman and RVD is such a big part of their presentation that it's laughably bad to have it altered.

ECW had virtually all their talent under artist representation....and it hurts not to hear them come out to those tunes.
Pantera "walk" for RVD and White Zombie "Thunder kiss 65" for the Pitbulls especially.
I HATE the fact that Sandmans entrance was butchered ever since the original airing of ONS.UGH!!!!
