It does look to be the same as far as articulation goes. They have the same joints just different looking legs. For $9, you can't go wrong.

The one on top has a very different torso than the one on bottom. I owned the one on the bottom and it is a very solid figure. I would recommend going with it for the price. I dont think ive ever seen the one on top, i dont know what release it is. The other one was in the regular cs assortment. But id go with that one anyway.

after researching a bit the top one is from the hogan vs andre 2pack. and the bottom looks like the r3 cs andre, but the boots look alot shorter so im not sure whats going on with that fig?but for $9 I'll prolly go with it, he's just going to bash the $h!t out of it anyway lol

The one on the left is accurate in scale and as big as he should be. The one on the right is the same size as nearly everyone else and is a R3 tech figure.

He sees my guys and he knows andre is supposed to be huge...I gotta keep searching then. Or if E29 Andre is good enough to be in my 1989 display I'll get that one, and just give my son my matty collector andre.

The one on the right's about an inch taller then everyone else. Still not the right scale though.

I think the first picture looks like it might be the Andre from the Giant Machine Classic Superstar. It looks like the one I've got. I'll look and see if I can get a picture.

The one on the bottom has a dark blue singlet (and possibly the boots, too) and leans to the left. It's essentially the R3 Big Show body with the kneepads, torso, and wrist tape shaved off.

And although Mattel's Andre was great, since I already had this one from Jakks, I decided to pass on the new one.

Here's the deal:
The Andre in black is the bigger of the two and was available in CS 26 (as Giant Machine), a CSTT with Hulk, and Best of CS series (this one had a CS logo stampe don the left leg).
The Andre in blue is from CS 6 and has an R3 body. Most collectors considered the Andre in black to be the better of the two as he is bigger, but not by too much.
In my eyes, I prefer the Andre in black.

I didn't get Mattel's Andre either..even with the weaker of the Andre figures in my collection after seeing yours Mattel is an extension of my collection but wouldn't replace my jakks
