The market probably fell through with them when they lost their popularity

They are becoming more like a general athletic apparel company a la Nike or Champion, than a MMA apparel company. You can find a lot of their stuff at stores like Marshalls or Modells.

Heck, even Wal Mart has been selling TapouT for a while now. Shirts, shorts and all. I saw an entire spinning rack of TapouT sunglasses in there just yesterday. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that the guys sold the brand which is why it's no longer fight gear and is now just general apparel.

I looked at their site and it looks like are still considered an MMA brand because the slogan is still expression of combat known worldwide. But it does seem like they're branching toward being a general line.

I used to love Tapout but I agree they seem to try to be a general athletic company. I'm a big Chael Sonnen fan, so I have all of his shirts by Tapout, and a few pairs of fight shorts. Most of their shirts I find to be the "macho" generic tribal design. I think they need to revamp the brand and get back into fresh designs and MMA

(just found a pic) - I really wanted this...bloody Jakks... As for TapouT, here in Sydney you can find some of their stuff in Big W (like Walmart) like a sweet zip up hoodie I got for $30.

Ivan only assume the reason that Jakks didn't release them is because...well, they're Jakks...a shame, I don't even like the TapouT guys but I would've gotten this set.

Perhaps less, I don't know...
