I was at a flea market in Florida yesterday and stopped by a toy stand that sold all wrestling figures. Most of the stuff was carded ecw and wcw toybiz figures. There was also a bunch of loose classic wwe figures and other random figures in glass cases. Nothing really caught my eye except for a custom figure of a backyarder with a JBL head. The figure was holding about 15 different toy belts, 3 of which were the ajpw triple crown titles. I was shocked that theses great belts were in this dirty flea market in a crappy hick town. I asked the coughing and weezing old lady who was running the stand how much she wanted for the belts. She said $150. I tried to bargain with her to get the price lowered but she wouldn't budge at all. I gave up after about 20 minutes and wound up buying a new leather wallet for $3.

Are you sure she meant $150 and not $1.50?? my thoughts as well. I dont know much about that kind of stuff but i doubt someone would say $150 for some toy belts. |

You're not gonna get the Triple Crown belts for $1.50. The cheapest Ive seen them go was in a rare 3 pack that was listed wrong on Flea Bay for $75. I sold my set to a member here 2-3 years ago for $100. The belts came with 3 separate Muta figures which run about $75-$100 a piece.

Agreed. I would not think they would be worth that or even be close to catching that kind of cash.

 Not my picture as like I said, I no longer own these but these are the belts (on Sting) that represent the AJPW Triple Crown. They're a little small for JAKKS figures but perfect size for Mattel. I really wish I didnt sell mine. I would totally be willing to buy a set again if I knew someone had them for sell. |

I would have challenged the woman to a 90s All Japan King's Road style match for the belts. No chance she could take a Steve Williams backdrop.
All kidding aside, it's crazy you found those at a flea market of all places. I've never come across them and given what they seem to cost, I'm not sure I'd pick them up even if I did.

Wow, I love collecting belts to go with my Mattel collection and these would be great to have. What Muta figures did these belts come with? Did they all come with one figure or three separate ones?

There were 3 Muta figures and each one came with a Title. The Muta figures run about $75-$100 a piece. You're better off trying to get them through classifieds or Ebay. |

That's my picture, I ended up buying them from Highspots years ago for $20 or so plus shipping in the keychain pack. I feel like they are pretty good scale for jakks too. |
