?I will miss my Jakks for sure but I really am falling in love with the elite series. Also the main problem is that they don't have a hole in foot for display purposes. I have been using the Mattel stands that are tiered from Matty collector. And I love how they display . But pegs keep figures from falling and the Mattel and Jakks shouldn't be mixed together I feel like it's wrong to do, and they are not made to the same scale and look. It just would not be as visually appealing as a collection to me ( unless I had specifically stood all the Jakks in the top tiers since they are all so tall and to keep them kind of separate and not as mixed? ... Am I weird ? LOL ?!?
Also if I do sell . Should I sell accessories individually, and part out all figures belts outfits and chairs canes mics etc? Is that the best way to make most money? I don't care how long it takes

Keep the legends, get rid of RAs. Trust me, you'll regret it if you get rid of your CS

Sorry to hear that mate, but if you had to do it, then by parting out your RA's is the way to go - @brickandyozen is right, you'll regret selling off your CS collection.
All the best to you.

If you're thinking of selling them do it, means you can do without them.

Never sell figures as a lot, maybe lots of 3-5 or so buy not all together. Had a friend sell about 200 Mattel figures, got $400 for them. Could have easily got $1,000 for everything on Classifieds or Ebay. I would simply list them on the WF Classifieds and see what people buy from them. Then maybe sell a remaining 20 or so figures as one lot on ebay for $100 or so.

Check eBay completed listings to see what has been selling and not selling. Any figures that command a decent price, sell individually. Small lots for the others.

I agree that you will probably regret getting rid of any classic superstars.
You are going to have a challenge ahead of you for the RA figures. The interest seems to be tapering off. A few years ago you could sell to the people who said they were quitting when Mattel took over, and were focusing on filling in the gaps in their collection, but now even those guys are moving on and making threads all the time about buying their first Mattels.
I say, if you are sentimental about those RA figures and think you're going to miss them, then don't sell them. Don't sacrifice short term for long term. You're going to sell a lot for a little and then spend it on a very small amount of Elites because of how crazy expensive they are on the aftermarket and feel cheated. And then the Elite price bubble will burst and those 80 and 100 figures will start to creep back down to affordable as the market becomes rife with them.
