Anyone else ever thought this?
For a good few years now, I've felt that Wrestlemania, although in March/April, is the end of the wrestling year, and a brand new year is started the very next night on Raw, especially the past few years, a lot of storylines and fueds have ended at Wrestlemania, and new storylines and superstars have debuted the night after, bringing a new beginning to the current product.

Yup, this is what I always believed. RR 2001, No Way Out 2001 and Wrestlemania 17 were basically the year 2000, it didn't really feel like 2001 until Backlash 2001.
This WM is basically a culmination of The Authority/D-Bry/Orton.

yup, a good chunk of the main feuds from the previous year, especially if they began anywhere between Summerslam and New Year's Eve, culminate at Wrestlemania, so those last reminants of the previous year aren't complete until around this time, and the payoff is the season finale at 'Mania, and the new 'season' of WWE is the following night on Raw when we deal with the fallout from the last season.

Agreed man. WrestleMania to me is when all the big storylines have that payoff and then the next night is when they hit the refresh button and we repeat for the next year.

Yeah I agree. It also feels like this year in particular, it's the beginning of a new Decade.

Yeah I agree. It also feels like this year in particular, it's the beginning of a new Decade. Yup, kind of like 98 after Austin won the title. I would count 2014 as the start of the 10s, considering the fact that most of the 10s felt like 06-09. It would be awesome if the WWE incorporated the WWE Network logo on RAW tomorrow and replace the WWF-E logo to cement this new ''Reality Era''.

Considering Extreme Rules is usually 80% WrestleMania rematches, maybe not.

I say this is the case sometimes but definitely not this year. The authority will continue on until I would say summerslam. Where it ends in a hhh vs Orton match or maybe even hhh vs Hbk

I think so. It feels like Summerslam is the season finale though.
