Completely shocked, couldn't believe it when the ref actually hit the 3.
Now I actually have no problem with Undertaker losing the streak and to an extent to Brock Lesnar, however it's just the manner as he has suffered defeats to John Cena & Triple H in recent years. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and they wouldn't of known Lesnar was going to be the man to end the streak in 2012 but should of really built him up as an undefeated monster (excluding his initial WWE run).

If the match was better it wouldn't have bothered me so much. Of all the great matches Taker has had in recent Manias, he had to pick the worst one in several years to end the streak. Most people were bored and expecting another kick out, so when the count was made I think caught people off guard.

They can still use this to push a new guy. You know how there is a new paul Heyman guy? Heyman can cut a promo and be like it took me two attempts, but I had a hand in defeating the streak. And now I'm going to take this young man to unbound heights that not even defeating the streak could hold a candle to

I thought it was f*cking awesome and i'm loving how much wrestling fans (Smarks too, no less!) are getting worked. I respect both men but the ending made WM--and WWE too, something it hasn't been in awhile; unpredictable. GOOD unpredictable.

I'm more upset as now I owe everyone in the wrestlemania thread a 12 inch sub and every ringside exclusive for  sake. Sloppy match, boring, crowd was dead. Feels like the ref botched it or something. Yes, I know the 21-1 graphic was on the screen before I get yelled at. |

I love how people don't want Brock breaking the streak but were all for Sting or even Cena breaking it.
It shocked the crowd. That was the payoff from it. That was the match that, regardless of what happened during the match, the aftermath's gonna be talked about for the next 50 years. I'd much rather have an established ass-kicker like Lesnar break it than someone who hasn't been on the roster a full year that has plenty of time to be pushed.

It was such the right thing to do, the look of surprise on everyone was epic, I will never forget it.
As for the match itself, it was slow and sluggish certainly didnt care much for it but maybe that had something to do with the ending because it felt like something was off and that in turn played into the result afterwards. It just didnt feel like a streak match and you just felt like something might go wrong and it did.
Well done WWE. I would have hated for Taker to ride off into the sunset without being defeated at WM. It will never make another predicatable WM ever again.

It kinda makes sense now as to why the commentators were so dead during the match..they knew the streak was gonna end obviously and just had no words to say because they knew it was coming throughout the match

Like most, I am SHOCKED the streak ended. I wasn't able to attend nor watch it live, but I read the results on WWE.com (before the graphics) and after I read "Brock Lesnar defeats The Undertaker" I swore I read it wrong. I must have re-read those words about 10 times over and it still didn't sink in.
While I HATE the fact Undertaker's streak is over, I will await to see HOW this plays out in time. Brock is a bit of an odd choice given he is only a part timer and his prime was 10 years ago. So does WWE have big plans for Brock after ending a streak that took over 20 years to create?
