Absolutely horrible decision. Such a shame that the amazing streak came to an end in such a disappointing way.

I'm upset the match was boring and poorly built. One second I switch to comment here and then I go back to watch WM and bam I see everyone's face. I literally thought Brock broke Taker's neck or something. I wanted Taker to go out with an epic battle. Now there's no point in having Sting at WM 31 imo.

All I can say is I don't think even 1/4 of the people even fathomed it.

The reason they chose Lesnar, a part-timer over a up and comer (or Cena) was because they didn't want that stress and weight on the shoulders of the guy that beat him. It was better to let somebody like Brock beat it, honestly.
Imagine the pressure that would have been on a guy like Reigns.

I would've liked Sting, heel cena or even Wyatt to beat him next mania but I guess Brock did the impossible lol I'm still shocked. Oh well..

Absolutely zero build up for this feud. The match was slow n the crowd was bored. Couldn't have ended it worse.
Hell when brock hit the last F5 the crowd didn't even react.

CM Punk. Roman Reigns. Bray Wyatt.
All three of those men would have been much better choices than Brock Lesnar to beat the Streak. Not only was the choice of having Brock win terrible, the match itself was a bore. Shield's two minute squash was more entertaining than that.

I still say the "21-1" is a work. Heyman bribed the ref or something. Hopefully.

That was the worst thing for business. It ruined the Taker's whole allure as well as a huge part of WrestleMania's mystique. 22-0 would have meant something. 21-1 means nothing. Personally now I feel the 1 in place of a 0 in the loss column tarnishes his whole WM legacy. The streak should have never been broken. It was the one blemish on an otherwise entertaining WM.

Ten years ago we had Brock Lesnar vs Godlberg. A match that had all the makings of an all-time classic.
This year we had Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker. A match that had all the makings of an all-time classic.
I was bored out of my skull through both and was left with nothing but confusion at both finishes.
I don't know what happened tonight. I have no idea what to think on the subject.

Terrible build, terrible match, and terrible result. One of the only black spots (the only other, much smaller one being Cena going over Bray) on an otherwise fantastic Wrestlemania.

I'm still completely shocked. There's not much at all that makes my jaw legit drop, but that did. I can't believe it.

I think no one, not even the commentators knew about it. I think Undertaker may have told Vince and the graphics guy, but no one else.

It just makes absolutely no sense. The whole Streak feels completely wasted. Look, I'm not disgruntled about the fact that the Streak is over, but it's the whole situation. Where is the payoff? What is the point?
If it was going to be broke, then it should of closed the Show, and it should of been to elevate a Star. It should make someone the most hated guy possible. Yet they give it to Brock Lesnar, a part time guy who it will hardly even affect. Not only that, but they have it third to last, so it kills the rest of the Show, and Taker can't even get the appropriate send off that he deserves. I'm completely against the idea that this would of been the reaction whoever it was. The moment could of been so much more spectacular and appreciated if it was against someone that everyone genuinely thought was a real threat to the Streak, like a John Cena. Instead, nobody knew what to do, everyone was caught be complete surprise.

If you guys didn't like the actual match, what makes you think next year would be better?
I mean, the fans were so dead because they know how a Taker Wrestlemania match goes. The first 5 finishing moves hit never mean the end of the match.
As far as it being Brock Lesnar winning, I'm all for it. I'd rather have a titan conquer Undertaker than someone who doesn't have a proven track record. I mean yeah I wish Brock wasn't part time, but Roman Reigns? Him breaking the streak just doesn't sound right. CM Punk, okay I would've loved that. Cena, as much as everyone is saying he would've been better I KNOW if it actually happened everyone would complain. So Brock isn't such a bad choice in my eyes.
I just wish they built Brock as more of an underdog. Paul Heyman basically told us Brock was going to end Taker, and he did. It's more of a statement, but not so much wow factor or emotions invested there. Anyways, I'm all for it. It finally gives me the courage to end Undertaker's streak myself in WWE 2k14.

where's all the Lesnar boys who were losing their minds at this amazing "dream match" we were gonna get all the people calling for Lesnar/Taker last year
you got exactly what you deserved. a crapbuild, a very sub-par match (like i said it would be) and the single worst decision ever made in wrestling
that was the crapstain on what was otherwise a FANTASTIC show

Maybe taker decided to end his career legit on his terms and decided that if he was having a bad match he was taking the fall. I wouldn't doubt it if Taker based staying around on weather or not the crowd was loving his matches.
