The only problem I had with the streak ending was how bad the match was.
I was telling my buddy, if they planned for Lesnar to win why not have this match be super physical and Lesnar just pummel Taker and bloody him.
There was no blood, it was not one sided enough and the F-5 to end the match was weak.
Other than that, I loved that he lost. In no normal universe would someone like Taker beat Lesnar.......
Again the only issue was Lesnar not hurting Taker enough

It's obvious Taker can't work like this anymore... He was so blown up throughout the match. I'd blame THAT for the bad match. If he could barely go today, what makes everyone think the streak should've continued for another year?
Plus the Taker WM match formula is running dry. The whole false finishers, that's what killed the crowd. WWE Had to do something to get them talking. Brock winning was perfect.
Subpar send off? I don't think Taker is done. Now there is less pressure for him to perform at Wrestlemania, if he is going to next year.

I liked it...
Undertaker looked rough here tonight guys. Let's be honest. The streak NEVER would've ended without Takers consent. He, for whatever reason, wanted this to happen. I think he knows his body can't go anymore and he's done. The streak HAD to end sometime.
To me, personally, I've been over the streak for a while now. It needed to out someone over at some point.
Lesnar now is the most hated man in the business and ready to challenge the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion...

I'm totally fine with it. I wish the match would have been better, but this was obviously The Undertaker's decision, and he's earned the right to choose - not only whether to end it, but who to end it with. Evidently, he chose Brock Lesnar. I'm not going to argue it.

Lesnar was the worst guy to do it. If Taker still wrestles then its all good to me. Taker vs Sting next year and Taker vs Cena the year after that would be great.

Lesnar VS Taker finish. calling it! ThreadI don't mean to boast, especially since I forgot all about my prediction until now, but as I stated in the previous-thread link above... I posted a video of the ending of No Mercy 02 and stated that "If they were somehow able to reserve this ending for WM, I probably wouldn't be as upset with Lesnar winning lol."Holy sh*t I was right?! LOL

I am still freaking shocked Undertaker lost!! I don't understand how the end it with that finish it felt more like a botch. Even Stone Cold was shocked.

I guess Undertaker can't beat Brock Lesnar in a singles match.

My first instinct after 'Mania went off the air was to listen to this. The somberness of it captures the tone of everything perfectly. The Streak was older than me. It had been around for my entire life. It's so ing surreal to know that it's all of a sudden....gone.

Undertaker had full control of his streak at this point. He never wanted to finish undefeated, obviously.
If he didn't want Lesnar to beat him he wouldn't have. Everyone says it's a big F U to Undertaker fans. How so? Undertaker chose to end his streak.
Everyone wants pageantry and it to be known it was his last match. I feel as tbough Undertskers never been about that spotlight and wanted to go out on his own terms without it being a spectacle.

I'm ok with it ending, but they should have ended it last yr with punk, or even the yr before to HHH (my opinion).
But he looked so bad at there. He needed this to end.

Shocked that it happened, but totally fine with it.
Though I have to say, I really wish it would've been Punk that did it last year. Not only was it a much better match, but it would've meant more to have Punk snap it than Lesnar, imo. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it being Brock that snapped it(would've been alot better if they mentioned the history of Taker/Brock in the buildup though), I just think it should've ended with a better match.
I'm also not convinced that Taker is done, in fact, I think this makes Taker/Sting alot more interesting. I still don't care about it, but atleast there's a chance Sting could win now.

You could literally hear a pin drop.
I was in absolute disbelief at what I saw. No one knew what to do, that crapwas crazy. The last time I remember feeling like this is when Family Guy killed off Brian.
The Streak is always going to be The Undertaker's crowning achievement. He still has 21 straight victories at WrestleMania. Literally nobody can brag about that. If this is what Mark wanted, it's what he wanted. I just hope WWE comes up with a golden payoff for this.

Undertaker had to be behind the streak ending. He could have wanted it to end against HBK or HHH or Punk but those guys respect the streak and wouldn't want to be the guy to end it. Lesnar Im sure doesnt care, he is getting his paycheck and moving on.

Yankees had a 5 championship winning streak right? That 6th season didn't necessarily tarnish them having the longest streak, did it?
Undertaker still has a 21 winning streak.

WWE made me love wrestling, and now hate it. Watching WWE has felt like an obligation for years with only a few genuinely exciting moments, including the streak. Now that it's over, I feel as though I've run out reasons to remain a loyal fan.
