At least if it was the Main Event, the atmosphere would of been mental when Lesnar hit that third F5. Instead, the crowd was flat and just waiting for Taker to hurry up and win. I guess it made people more shocked than gutted, but it still damaged the appreciation for Undertaker.

The reason they chose Lesnar, a part-timer over a up and comer (or Cena) was because they didn't want that stress and weight on the shoulders of the guy that beat him. It was better to let somebody like Brock beat it, honestly. Imagine the pressure that would have been on a guy like Reigns. What kind of pressure? It's a scripted show and wwe does what they want. I think cena could handle whatever the outcome was honestly.

You guys are forgetting who made this decision. Do you think Vince walked up to his biggest draw at WM and told him that he would have to lose? Clearly Taker had nothing left in the tank anymore and didn't want to be a cheap cash draw.
The only other way that could have ended was if Cena beat him, and if he did that..they would have had to turn him heel because of the heat he would have gotten. Cena can not turn heel until the WWE finds a new babyface to replace him, and we need to see if the Daniel Bryan era can bring in more ratings/merchandise/ppv buys than Cena can.
The reason Taker didn't want an up and comer to take the streak was because he didn't want that guy to have the pressure on his shoulders of being the ''next big thing'' aka Roman Reigns. Brock is already that guy, and it looks like he's going to be a full timer now. Him and Brock are are really good buds as stated above, they both agreed upon this and what happened happened.

Most surprising thing I've witnessed in my almost 20 years of watching pro wrestling. Makes next years build up a hell of a lot more interesting. And this is coming from an Undertaker fan who spent 10 minutes trying to close his mouth which was agape, out of pure shock.
Hats off to the WWE for doing that. Makes me remember why I became a fan in the first place.

Anyways, I'm all for it. It finally gives me the courage to end Undertaker's streak myself in WWE 2k14. I made taker tap with daniel bryan in 2k14 streak mode. I blame myself. I jinxed the whole thing.

If they were going to end the streak, then it should've been Punk last year, after holding the belt for 434 days. It would've actually done something for Punk, it would've defined his career... but no, they have Punk lose, job him out to Lesnar and then let that money-grabbing, part-time, toss-pot - who doesn't care one iota about the business, and doesn't need it, end it instead. And you wonder why Punk would rather be home in Chicago, watching the Blackhawks.

Aren't Taker and Lesnar really good friends? Make sense if he wanted his last match with his good friend and decided to lose on his own

Would have legit pissed Taker off.

I don't really watch current wrestling anymore, but this caught my attention. I like surprises in wrestling. Predictible storylines and match outcomes was one of the reasons I lost interest in current wrestling.
I didn't watch WM so I can't comment on the actual match, and I haven't seen enough of Lesnar or this particular feud to say whether Lesnar was the right choice or not, but I'm glad the streak actually ended. It's a long tradition in wrestling to pass the torch, and one I agree with.
Plus I'm glad the streak now won't be any part of the Sting/Taker match next year, if it happens. Although I still can't see how a Sting/Taker match could really work now. Their ages and physical conditions aside, they can't have Sting lose his only WWE match, but then again if he beat Taker he'd probably get booed since it's a WWE audience. But we'll see what happens I guess, a lot of it will come down to the creativity of the writing.

No I'm not happy..
I'm not even a big fan of Taker I just think he should have gone 22-0 and if he wanted to retire then retire next year but do so 23-0.

This guy has been wrestling at Mania since I was a little kid. I appreciate the art of the great surprise at the big spot. You'll always remember Wrestlemania 30 for this moment. But I don't understand it going to a part timer like Brock. That part makes little to no sense to me.
Thank you Undertaker for all the memories. The last remaining active wrestler from my childhood, gone. Sad day in a way.

I was in total disbelief when that happened. What an incredible Wrestlemania. I'm sure a lot of you are very mad that the streak was broken, but I'm sure Taker wanted it.
Hats off to Taker, Brock, and WWE.

I was hearing that Undertaker kicked out before the three count, I never saw it. I have a tape recorder in my mouth. I do all the matches at WrestleMania with it. And I never seen him kick out, did the ref make a fast count or did he know what he was doing.

I'm re watching the end of the Lesnar v Taker match. I noticed that Undertaker says something to Brock right before he tries to deliver a tombstone thus resulting in Brock winning. I cannot make out what he says and wondering if anyone else could.

I was there live the crowd was in utter disbelief and flat out pissed off!! That was complete and utter crap! My first wrestlemania I ever watched was wrestlemania 7 when the streak began with Jimmy Snuka! Brock beating Undertaker was the worst decision wwe has ever ever made! This is coming from a lesnar fan, Brock was a horrible choice! He is a part time wrestler who pops up for the big paycheck and leaves! Something as sacred as breaking the streak is an honor that should have been bestowed on someone who deserves that honor! Like HBK or Triple H or even Punk! I have watched wrestling for 25 years and I have never been so pissed off at WWE before! The only thing that saved the show was Danirl Bryan taking the belt!

Anyone even capable of walking out the way he did isn't deserving of such an accolade. Not saying they knew Punk would walk out or anything. But I bet in hindsight, they're probably glad he wasn't the one to do it. I am, and I love Punk. And on that note, why are we even talking about this guy? He's gone and even refuses to be addressed by his stage name anymore. This has nothing to do with him. It's about time you Punk fans let this one go. WWE put on a great show tonight and you're still belly aching over a guy that not only wasn't on the card, but didn't want to be.
