To clarify, it's not that the streak ended... it's the piss-poor manner in which it ended and who ended it, that's the problem. The next guy to beat Brock (which very well may be Bryan) will get the ultimate rub. Yeah, Bryan will probably beat Lesnar clean, to add to his clean wins over Cena and now HHH. Punk wasn't allowed to have a clean win over any of them, I wonder why that is?

I'm going to go out there and say Undertaker was suppose to win the match tonight. Why it did not happen that way? Well first of all that was Mark's worse Wrestlemania match this millennium. He knew it when he was in the ring, and could not lift Lesnar for the Last Ride. Taker did not do his famous leap over the top rope, like he's done every Mania he's been in since WM 20.
Brock Lesnar in my opinion shouldn't have been the one to end it, or the matter of the fact the streak ending at all. Thar's not my call or anyones, but Taker. Mark was really blowing up in the ring, and the worst I have ever seen him perform. He's burnt out and it was his decision to lose and not Mcmahon's.
I have total respect for the man, and had the honor of watching him perform live at WrestleMania 24. He'll always be in my top five favorite Pro Wrestlers of all time. I hope he's doing good and know fans like me care.

lol at these comments.
He was obviously telling him they were gonna end it. When I saw it live I just took it to mean Taker was tired and ready to pin Lesnar. Man, what a swerve.

I still don't understand this. I would have liked the streak to end unbroken, but I also would have been cool with someone new and fresh ending it... someone thats going to be THE GUY for the next ten years or so. They could have made that next guy by winning this one match. Instead they had it end at the hands of a guy who wrestles three times a year, and seemingly has no respect for the fans or the business, and is already over as an established guy. Blows my mind... I hope they're got something really crazy up there sleeve with this but I'm not sure how they possibly could...

I don't see what's wrong with an established guy ending the streak. I just think it'd have more negative effects than positive in the long run.

Stunned… Yes. Upset? Hardly. This loss was understandingly overdue. Tonight was reminiscent of Flair vs Michaels, that being it was extremely painful to watch. I felt the match was poorly executed on the Undertaker's part. Lesnar carried that whole debacle. I felt even worse that the crowd didn't cheer for him during his exit. He deserved that respect for the legacy that is his career. 21-1, still a legend in my book.

Im probably the only one who feels this way but Im just being honest; I just feel Undertaker losing, on this fashion, kind of devalues the importance of his matches the past 10 years when the streak was actually a big deal. The reason his matches with Michaels, Edge, Batista, HHH, Punk were so epic was because of the circumstances regarding the streak and now that its over, it feels like it doesnt mean anything. Like the New England Patriots, they WERE 18-0, but they lost that 1 and now it really means nothing. We can tell our grand-kids that Undertaker was 21-0 and then lost, would have been better to say, I watched Undertaker retire at 22-0.
Just how I feel honestly.

Yeah, a 55 year old man who can't even do his Last Ride/Tombstone or take bumps properly anymore is going to beat a former UFC Champion, in the reality era.

He may have eventually had he not left. Juuuust sayin. He wasn't even afforded the opportunity to have a re-match with Lesnar. Just sayin' Maybe he would've been if he stayed. Juuust sayin. Bryan has been shat on more than Punk ever was in his time with WWE and he got his moment. Maybe Punk's moment was yet to come. And again. We don't know why he left, so quit trying to make this about your hero because it's not.
