I just can't believe it ended in a poorly built up match. I mean the match overall was slow paced and awkward. Still can't believe he lost to Lesnar of all people.

I like Undertaker and Brock, I was OK with either way. But you have to remember, WWE gave a lot of leverage to Taker as to who he would lose to. It was partly his decision. If you're going to hate on The Beast, you have to lay some responsibility on the Dead Man

I feel like I'm the only one who isn't like, utterly happy with this, but not disappointed. Like, could it have gone to someone else? Yeah, sure, but it went to Lesnar. And in my eyes, it's a mixture of a lot of things. First, let's say the obvious that it was most likely Taker's decision and he probably got to pick who it went to. I get the anger towards Lesnar, because of him being an off again, on again guy. Though, I feel in terms of kayfabe and character, he was a great guy to do it. He has beaten a lot of notable talent and since his return in 2012, he has been booked like a monster. Let's not forget that in kayfabe, Taker answered an open challenge and wanted to see if Lesnar was man enough to not just fight him, but if he could do the unthinkable.
It was Wrestlemania 30, a show built around legacy and history. And make no mistake about it, the streak was one of the biggest things in Wrestlemania history. Every year a man stepped up and would be another number on the tally board. This was history, it was shocking, it was stunning, it was something that people clamor for every week after a RAW or SD, that sense of "unpredictability" and swerving us. We got a swerve big time. From all the comments about it being a huge shock, isn't that what we want? Oh, no, we want shocking, but only when it benefits us.
I saw this show as a way to usher in a new era, shake things up, celebrate the legacy of this industry, and Wrestlemania, and to have this four hour spectacle that will have us talking for years. Not to mention, there were very few people who could've done this, you don't give it to a Zack Ryder or Dolph Ziggler. To me, Orton and Cena were the only two with any name value, and he's already beaten Orton. And let's be real, Cena beating it would've ticked people off big time.
To me, this whole thing from conception to ending was brilliant. Taker challenges Brock at the showcase of the immortals, the 30th Wrestlemania. Brock and Taker fight for something important to them. The match may not have been as epic as some of Taker's previous battles, but it was still pretty entertaining and there was not one person who probably didn't, at least for a moment, sit there in shock when that three counted happened. It was sold perfectly post match, and honestly, while it may not have been what I wanted, I liked it.
Wrestling is all about drama and creating moments that will stand the test of time. I think people forget that sometimes and overlook that aspect in favor of the in ring stuff or having their favorites always win. Sometimes you gotta roll with the punches when things don't go your way, but just because you didn't get what you want, doesn't always mean it's bad. I mean, I wanted Wyatt to win big time, but I was thoroughly entertained by the match, the story, the outcome, everything. In my eyes, getting what I want all the time would become boring and make me not want to tune in. I want shocking moments, I want my favorites winning, I want good conquering evil, I want things to sometimes play out just exactly as I called them months in advance, I want shocking twists, I want everything that wrestling has to offer and it's why I'm a fan.
But maybe I'm just a sucker and not a "real" wrestling fan.
