If anything what would be nice is if Evolution (Triple H, Orton, and Batista) were to bring in a 4th man
Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton have "officially" reformed Evolution (at least as far as entrance songs go), and I believe this is a wonderful opportunity to elevate a young WWE superstar.
What the first incarnation of the group did was push two up-and-coming superstars into the main event. Batista would headline WrestleMania and become a made man thanks to a feud with Triple H. Orton would win the heavyweight championship before establishing a hot new gimmick as "The Legend Killer". It is safe to say, Orton and Batista aside, these two guys have amassed a lot of titles, feuded endlessly with John Cena, and become leading figures of WWE.
Of course it helps when you're in the same stable as the boss' daughter's husband, but in this business you have to take whatever avenue is presented to you. So why not use this opportunity to team up with the COO, former WWE world heavyweight champion, and the new Hollywood superstar starring in this summer's biggest blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy.
By no means is it certain that the new Evolution will be a four man stable. If it were, however, Kane joining the stable makes no sense, and it looks likely he will be the first one fed into the Daniel Bryan Invincibility Machine.
Hunter will be staying in his suit and COO position. He might wrestle on special occasions, of course, but only on special occasions. He has inherited the Ric Flair "legend" position. Batista and Orton are now the top dogs, but I think they will need someone who can do their dirty work, and collude with them during tag team matches (playa)
The question is, who should it be?
