Hey everyone! I used to make custom Marvel Figures w/ my dad when I was younger and I have been thinking about customizing WWE figures lately. Since I am just starting out, I was hoping some cool people could offer some advice to me. I have a bunch of questions so please bear with me. What type of paint should I use? How do I go about converting older WCW and ECW figure heads to the WWE RA style? I saw a great Shane Douglas using the old OSFTM ECW figure and would love to find out how it is done! ;D What type of cutting tools should I use? X-acto knives or something else? Is it possible to make the customs sturdy enough to survive actual use? Those are my main concerns. Any other advice people would like to offer would be appreciated too! Thanks!

What type of paint should I use?I use Testors Model paint. Although slightly expensive, it gets the job done well, and doesn't need sealer at all. Find it Wal-mart, or almost any craft store. Never experimented with those. What type of cutting tools should I use? X-acto knives or something else?Xacto knives are probably your best bet. Is it possible to make the customs sturdy enough to survive actual use?Certainly. No promises on the paint chipping though. If you don't play ridiculously rough, they should be ok. Sculpting is a different story. If you plan on sculpting, be very careful. Things like kickers or attire mods will be ol. But, if you plan on sculpting hair or something, you'll lose alot of playability.

Don't sacrifice the Shane Douglas that you have. Get a Chris Beniot and modify the head a little. Paint the hair and the tights and you have a cool Shane Douglas.
