If you go to WWE's website, you're immediately hit with an image of Sting and Undertaker. It's only after the initial shock that you realize they're talking about the ultimate fantasy match.

Why is this an ultimate fantasy match? I've never really figured this out..
Sting vs. Undertaker in 2001? Absolutely! Would love to see that, it would have been a big angle in the Invasion story... 2014 or even 2015? No.

Never got the appeal for Sting vs Undertaker. Is it that they were the main goth guys in each company during the Monday Night Wars? I haven't watched the video yet, I'm sure that could make it seem awesome, as these videos usually do (Perfect vs Ziggler and Punk vs Austin were great).

Its two legends that people never got to see together, so it'll always have a bit of intrigue to it. I don't think they'd have a MOTY if they do wrestle, because look at where they both are in life, but it wouldn't be bad, at the very least a good match, and would be interesting to see, especially the build up. |
