I've recently been buying up lots of older Jakks figures to do headswaps with Mattel Elites. Sometimes they work great, sometimes not.
My current favorite is the RA JBL head on the Elite figure.
Also, the R3 HHH on any HHH Elite! AMAZING!
Anyone else have luck with a Jakks to Mattel headswap?

R3 and TTL's are the only ones scaled correctly for Mattel's. And with some R3's and most TTL's you need to hollow out the heads to have them fit Mattel bodies.
And I might add the R3 Triple H head looks horrible on an Elite Triple H body unless you repaint one to match the other. The skin tone of that head is pale like the Mattel Austin's skin tone. Triple H's is much tanner.

I made a JBL out of a basic Teddy DiBiase and a Havoc Unleashed JBL head........it still looks better than the E23 version IMO. I also did the often used method of a CS Flair head on a Terry Funk body for a mattel place holder of an elite younger Flair. And put an RA suited Flair head on a basic Cody Rhodes body for an older Evolution era Flair. Works perfectly.

U know the atrocious first Mattel John Morrison head? Years ago, i swapped them. Mattel head to Jakks and the other way round. It was perfect.
