It amazes me that they would rather have ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing Cyborg as part of JL over Green Arrow. Sigh. or Green Lantern Martian Manhunter Hawkman Hawkgirl The Atom Firestorm Black Canary Unfortunately the presence of these characters on TV shows(GL aside) means that the movie division has zero interest in them. Cyborg is there to fulfil WBs need for diversity.....simple as. I personally think they should have went another way with this but it is what it is at this stage. I think Ive mentioned it before (and I know you're not a fan of Gadot as WW) but the ultimate JL lineup they could have done IMO would have been.. Superman-Henry Cavill Batman- Ben Affleck Wonder Woman- Gal Gadot The Flash- Ryan Gosling Green Lantern- Armie Hammer Aquaman- Jason Momoa Green Arrow- Charlie Hunnam Black Canary- Emily Maddison

I love Hal but they should have just done Jon Stewart as the GL if they wanted diversity. Geoff Johns is also a big player in the movies now and we all know he has a hard one for Cyborg.

I'm not a fan and I feel it was a critical error on WBs part. Guess the WW movies release will tell the story.

Hal or bust for me. Stewart is a crap character and always has been. They would have to do SERIOUS work on his character for a movie....IMO that is.

Early word on Wonder Woman is positive.. Very positive. I'm relieved I have to say. I very much want this to be good so I can begin forgiving GG for accepting the part of WW...LOL. I'm also VERY impressed with that picture of Mera from the Aquaman movie......VERY impressed. Everything I have seen of Aquaman thus far has had me eager to see more.

Supposedly Aquaman's suit for his solo movie was revealed... ![http://www.thecomicbookcast.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/18557430_10158848336215037_310239294241030644_n.jpg](http://www.thecomicbookcast.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/18557430_10158848336215037_310239294241030644_n.jpg)

Jason Momoa is so badass. Not making Aquaman a vanilla square jawed white meat babyface was the best move ever. Suit looks awesome.

I am stoked for Aquaman, honestly. So am I man. Mainly because of James Wan. He also shown he wont be pushed around by walking off this movie already and they got him back. So I am rooting for him.

With Wonder Woman getting positive reviews and Aquaman images getting a lot of hype, it almost makes me wonder if a lot of the negativity from BvS and Suicide Squad comes from the fact we're still comparing them to the Nolanverse. BvS wasnt a terrible movie but it also wasnt a "Batman movie" yet gets compared a lot with the Nolanverse. Early images of Leto's Joker put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths and it seems after that people just wanted to find everything they could to nitpick it apart. With WW and Aquaman, we've got nothing to compare it to, so naturally the reviews are positive.

I'm still going to skip out on Wonder Woman regardless of what the reception is.. I might catch it at home one day.

Everything about it just sucked. I still think reintroducing Joker so 'soon' after The Dark Knight was a massive mistake. Atleast with such a drastic change. Oh and that "Damaged" tattoo on his forehead really sealed the deal that he sucked. No subtely whatsoever, all of it was teenage edgyness. BvS wasn't a bad movie, but it certainly wasn't a good movie either. It just kinda exists and that's that. You could cut out the whole Doomsday thing and it would have been much better. Genuinely one of the most boring super hero fights I have ever seen. WW looks alright, the setting kinda mehh's me, but I'll give it a shot. Aquaman I'll hold off excitement for until I've seen Justice League so I know what to expect.

He wasn't perfect but Leto has said himself that he wanted to explore the seductive side of the Joker; something that hadn't been done before. Sure I prefer Jack and Leger, but I think Leto gets a bad rap, especially since WB and D.C. apparently cut most of his scenes out. He did a fine job IMO.

You know what? I actually preferred Joker in Suicide Squad than in the Dark Knight. I liked the Dark Knight, I really did, but I am so over its pretentiousness and while Heath Ledger did a good job, for me personally it was not the be all and end all of The Joker. My favorite is still Mark Hammil in the Arkham games if they could get that on the big screen, it would be awesome.
However I can see why Letto's Joker was not to everyone's taste, but I liked the unpredictability, the weirdness and dare I say, I actually liked the odd new look. DC have done a lot of things wrong in their movies, but seeing more of what they do with this Joker is one of the more interesting things IMO.

Zack Snyder has had to step down from his Justice League duties due to a family tragedy, but Joss Whedon is now going to finish the movie.

Yeeeah, I'm not a fan of Leto's Joker. At all. I get that everybody's free to do their own interpretation, but... Gangsta Joker is about as interesting to me as Rasta Joker in The Batman.
The tattoos suck. The grille sucks. Him cruising around in a Lambo is hilarious. The laugh is meh. Overall, it's the presentation that throws me off more than Leto's performance. I'm not saying he needs to be a carbon copy, but if he were more in-line with Joker from the Arkham games, I'd find it far more intriguing.
Personally, I think Gotham did a much better Joker with Jerome. He does a great job of mixing Ledger's and Nicholson's Joker.

Horrible to hear about Snyder. I'm not a fan of the guy but it's unfortunate he wasn't able to have the safety net of work to help him through his loss. I mean it's a huge property and he's battling criticism as is, so it's understandable it stressed him out more than expected.
I think Whedon is great and I'm sure he'll do everything he can to fill in for Snyder. Seems like he's shooting the scenes he added to the script anyway.
