Sorry man....Batman's work is NEVER done. Gotham is a toilet. Its a warzone......Batman's war is never finished. Oh, I don't disagree. I simply mean it gets to a point, like in the cartoons/comics etc...where he's not fighting super-villains constantly. He has to deal with new ones as they show up; or escape Arkham. Never breaks in the criminal activity -- just the super-villain activity, if that makes more sense. well yeah that's different man.

As long as Affleck doesn't hobble around on a cane for 40 minutes of the movie, I'll be happy. Im telling ya now lads if batman is any of the following in this movie I will assassinate someone @ WB in retaliation. 1)Batman is a broken down mess shaken out of retirement by the events in Metroplois 2)Batman is semi retired and not really into it any more 3)Batman is not in the zenith of physical conditioning I have no problem with him being older(not MUCH older mind you) but I want Afflecks Batman to be fully active in his career and for people to know he is out there. Also lets have a less heavy handed Alfred. Alfred walking out on Bruce in DKR disgusted me and it was all so we could have some f*ckin mealy mouth happy ending in Italy someplace. I still FF through that part when he walks. Bring it Jeremy Irons....I know your dry wit will deliver here. I think when we first see Bruce Wayne he's gonna be really angry and pissed off at Superman for all the destruction he brought to a world that Batman has spend so many years defending ect.

That'll do nicely. I wonder has the long mooted Flash movie now been delayed until after Justice league too? Im gasping to see Flash on my big screen....Im also wondering have they made any decisions regarding GL.

I presume they will ignore the TV version just like they are(unfortunately)doing with Arrow. Arrow is doing such an awesome job at "universe building" its a shame to discount it.

That's my assumption as well, which is a shame as I would love to have Arrow/Flash be involved with the Justice League movie.

DC ignoring the TV universe is just another step backwards.

Superman Returns was awful as well I can't believe the same filmmaker that gave us DOFP is the one that did Superman Returns...mind-blowing.

He has said many times that he wished he had done X3 instead of SR......I wish he had too. Ratner gets far too much of the blame though....internet darling Mathew Vaughn had many of these ideas in place and Ratner had no time to change a lot of stuff.

The only bright spot from Superman III was Christopher Reeves portrayal of evil superman.

Im eagerly anticipating Gotham, wasnt sure about it at first but now after seeing the cast i'm sold. Im hoping it lives up to the hype. I like the fact that we get to see origin stories for a lot of the characters that the movies didn't do justice for like the Riddler, Penguin, Freeze, and Catwoman. As well as potential origin stories for big characters like Joker, Bane, Clayface, and Two-Face.
EDIT: Also does anyone know what night and time this is scheduled to be on or have they not released that info yet?

Just a quick thing because I'm bored... ranking the Batman movies (that I've seen)!: - Batman Begins
- The Dark Knight Returns (animated)
- The Dark Knight
- Mask of the Phantasm
- Batman/Superman: World's Finest (after this movie, the quality drops considerably)
- Returns
- 66
- 89
- Year One
- Under the Red Hood
