Man, I need to stop forgetting it's Wednesday. I miss conversing during the show. Anywhere, here are my thoughts. Nice opening match. Not the best these two have had, but I liked it. Great interview with Owens Still not sure what to make of the Bull vignettes. Hated the internal monologue though. Either have him say it or leave it unsaid. Corbin match. Nice backstage segment with Bayley. Looking forward to seeing her and Lynch next week. Prince pretty! I love the split color gear. Nothing match, but always nice to see Tyler being vicious. THE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! It wasn't really a mystery, but actually seeing it gave me chills. The video package was also really nice. I'm incredibly excited for this. Apollo Crews is a good name for Uhaa. Can't wait to see his debut at Takeover. Nice interview with Balor. Interesting that they're making it a ladder match. The Mechanics two weeks in a row?!?! I love it!!! Not a fan of the Hype Bros music. It's just Mojo's but with Zack's catchphrase. It doesn't really fit together. People seem to like Mojo a lot more than they used to. So I guess teaming him with Zack is doing something for him. I really dislike people making so many chants fit the New Day one. Woo Woo Woo works on its own, but that way it just sounds awkward. I'm disappointed The Mechanics lost, but it looks like they're setting up for something. I just wish they could have matches be made in other ways than everyone beating everyone else. I'm not saying that never works, just not all the time. At least the Mechanics had the last laugh. Vaudvillains get a rematch. I wonder how they'll deal with Bliss. A vintage lady, I guess. I wonder if they'll have someone new, or just bring out Becky, since she's steampunk. one thing I do like about the Bull segments is that the rest of the people there are being supportive. It makes him a bit less of a joke. Nothing pretty about the main event. But it was a really good, hard hitting, fight. I loved it. Fun show, building to the big event nicely. I can't wait until next week.  |

This week's show was great! Bayley vs. Charlotte was great. The interviews with Owens and Balor were good (Michael Cole and Byron Saxton are still geeks). Joe vs. Rhyno was fine and The video package highlighting Luger was alright. Plus Tyler Breeze destroyed Bayley's..... we all know she's @bashcrashwiley girl and not the guy Breeze destroyed |

Where the hell were Enzo and Big Cass? I feel like we have waited over a year for them to sniff the gold, just to be put back on the back-burner for the Vaudvillains again... I love these guys and they can't even get on the show for a promo or anything. I was so happy when they got a title shot, but I knew somehow they would get snubbed. But where do they go from here? Seems HHH or someone else in development doesn't like these guys, because they get more attention from the crowd than anybody, and continue to get overlooked... WTF..

Credit where credit is due, that was the most I've seen from Bayley in that match. She's more technically sound than I thought she was. Not going to become a superfan or anything, but she showed me something in that match - at least enough to see that she might not be completely pointless after all. However, I thought I'd just look into that Bayley thread to see what the reaction was and sure enough, you've got people proclaiming it the MOTY. In reality, it was a decent match, made better by the presence of Charlotte. I don't dislike Bayley per se, but it's actually all the guff I read in that silly thread, which turns me off of her. As for Enzo and Cass, they're mistreating them - especially Enzo. Why is it the crappy Vaudevillains get a rematch due to Bliss' interference, but Enzo and Cass don't? Doesn't make any sense. Why anyone would be interested in the Vaudevillains, to begin with, is beyond me. English would be decent on his own, but Gotch is awful.

Well I don't speak for anybody else here but I did say that match is my MOTY so far. I stand by that statement and don't give a sh*t what you or anybody else thinks. The match quality was superb, I was fully invested in the story and it's the only match this year that gave me any kind of emotional connection/reaction other than it being a straight up wrestling performance on TV. Also, if the Bayley thread bothers you so much then do us all a favor and don't go in there. "There's a 68 page thread full of people who like and respect a female wrestler and post why instead of just talking about her ass constantly. I MUST find a way to hate on this and bitch about it constantly." |
