I just want to acknowledge how far superior American Alpha is at evetything, than just about all other tag teams. The difference between them and The Revival was scarily noticeable. They're fantastic. I loved the match. It felt like a classic tag match

Great show last night and I would say after rewatching Zayn/Nakamura that its in the top ten matches of the '10 decade in the WWE.As far as Balor/Joe goes it was better then their first match up and I am a fan of both men but to me Balor just really hasn't delivered as champion and more so in terms of in the ring.Yes he's a good work and put on good matches against Owens,Joe,Crews...ect but has had in my view that classic yet as champ and real in his whole NXT run.To me his debut match against Neville at Takerover is still his best outing.
I am hoping that for the next Takeover event that the top matches are Balor/Nakamura for the NXT Title,Asuka/Bayley II for the Women's Title and American Alpha/Dirty Heels for the tag team titles.

Meltz ain't gonna go five stars. He won't ever get a WWE match five stars again so I've heard. Also, since I had four hours to sit around and think, I remembered that Balor's new look was probably inspired by Spider Man 2099 ![](http://www.marvel616politics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/spidey2099.jpg) I've made it safely home. Woo. Can't speak well at the moment. Ordered Shinsuke's shirt off WWE Shop since I couldn't find it there. Why wouldn't Meltzer rank it 5 stars?

I was gutted to see Balor win though, it pretty much cancels any chance of him appearing at Raw on Monday. I thought that too. But then I remembered Owens debuted on RAW while still NXT champion. So anything is possible.

Watching the show as a whole now, spoilers if you haven't seenit: Excellent tag title match to start the show. One botch that was pretty major, but I'm glad they kind of gave up on it instead of doing something that could have broken Gable's neck. I'm happy for American Alpha, though I would have liked to see the Revival hold the titles longer. either way, I can't wait to see more from both teams. Slower match between Aries and Corbin, but still very good. Corbin is becoming more and more comfortable in the ring, and is on his way to being one of the better brawlers in the industry. His trash talking in the ring was also very effective. Aries as the underdog made sense, and of course he's amazing no matter what he does. Very good fight, I would like to see more from these two. Also, was that the first time on NXT TV they've called him A Double? I skipped Zayn/Nakamura this time, but my thoughts are already posted. I'll be watching it again later for sure. Likely tomorrow before Mania. That women's title match... Wow! Bayley and Asuka are both amazing and put one one hell of a match. I don't know if I'd quite put it up there with the Sasha Banks matches, though that's probably as much to do with the emotion of the stories going in as actual work rate. Such a fantastic bout from start to finish. Another I have mixed feelings on the winner, but I don't think I would ever really be ready for Bayley to drop the belt, so it's ok. first Kota Ibushi, now Bobby Roode! I hope we see them both in WWE in time. Ibushi is a must for the Cruiser tournament. I'm disappointed Crews got droppedfrom the card, but I'm happy the other matches are getting so much time. And now is time for out main event! Liking the demon gear, especially the blue trunks but not not sure the deal with the chainsaw. also, with it being a part of Ambrose's shtick this weekend, I wouldn't have have him use it. Another thing, when he moves to the main roster, will he us the demon every ppv? It's great when it's once every 2-3 months or so, but ever 3-4 weeks might get to be too much. Maybe limit it to actually big matches at that point. Or when a feud calls for it. Drake reffing the main event. ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif) Joe busted open right away. How did that happen? I'm with Corey though, bloody Joe is scary as hell. I love thee ref trying to check on Joe and Joe pushing him away. This is one of those time blood can really add to a match. Fans booing the ref and trainer are a bit much though, especially the BS and PG sucks/ F PG chants. Especially since PG isn't the reason for the care taken. Personally, I like the care taken with blood. It actually makes it seem like a bigger deal. It is throwing off the flow of the match, but I still think it works for the story. Another excellent match. You really felt the emotion of this feud all the way through. I'm a little surprised by the finish (shades of Bret/Austin Survivor Series 96), but I like it. The look on Joe's face sold it completely. Plus I like when matches end in ways other than finishers. I'm really interested to see where everything goes from here. Who will Finns next challenger be? Who will finally dethrone him? Is Joe on his way to the main roster now? Will we get another match with these two? When are Guns and Gallows debuting? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!! Fantastic show from start to finish. I'm still looking forward to Mania, but will anything there match up with this? We shall see... If Sami wins Sunday, that would help. ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif)

NXT makes me love wrestling After Mania ill probably question why i watch Just watch Zayn/Nakamura again and you'll be ok. ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif) So Takeover Dallas was F'n great. Chad Gable is a star in the making, I guarantee you in 2 years he'll be in a key match at Mania. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn was so great it was the 2nd best match of the year, that crowd was on fire and both delivered. Even though that i'm a little heart broken Bayley lost to Asuka it was still a great match. What's your number one? After Bayley, who is left to challenge Asuka outside of Nia Jax? Emma is gone, Eva is gone, Bayley will be gone, and no other girls except maybe Alexa Bliss have had the build up to be credible enough as a challenger. Unless they sign somebody like Ivelisse Velez or Candice LaRae this summer, there doesn't seem like many challengers for her. We don't actually know that Bayley or Emma are gone. But hopefully they'll start pushing Peyton Royce and Billie Kaye soon, plus Carmella is incredibly over and Dana's continuously improving and already has issues with Asuka. You build the story right and have quality matches, it could be just about anyone. Though if I had my choice, they'd be signing Cheerleader Melissa soon. On a different note, Balor's win virtually guarantee's him breaking Neville's record as the longest reigning NXT champ. Only two weeks to go.

Well, the Revival is an old school tag team. American Alpha is new school. Personally, I think the Revival are dreadfully dull, but I also though the Brain Busters were dreadfully dull, so I just don't like that style of tag team rasslin' at all.

Nakamura's Boma Ye, now known as the Kinshasa, is a reference. It's the name of the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 1974, Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman in what was known as "The Rumble in the Jungle", a very high profile boxing match. During the fight, locals constantly chanted "Ali, boma ye!" during the match, which translates to "Ali, kill him!", so "Boma Ye" means "kill him" but since it probably wouldn't be safe for WWE to have a move literally called "kill him", they renamed it after the city that The Rumble In the Jungle was held in: Kinshasa.

Just rewatched Takeover, and wow was that crowd rude when Asuka won the title, Asuka was holding up her title, all I could focus on was the front couple of rows just stood there, if they were bayley fans, OK but that still doesn't mean they should sulk because she lost, Asuka won, show the girls some respect and give it some applause rather than sulk

They are solid enough in the ring, but have zero character between the both. They are completely out shined by American Alpha (or Blake and Murphy, who actually started showing some character with Alexa)

Go Asuka, not impressed by Bayley. Screw Bayley!
Good job by American Alpha.

Its a work, but we dont need applause or boo signs. Maye they dont like Asuka? I think shes pretty, and has a cool look, but im not sold on her yet. These Japanese wrestlers havea different style

Jordan and Gable are by far my favorite tag team in years. I love them, i got emotional when they got the victory. Both deserve big things in their future. Gable is a future main eventer for sure.
Nakamura entrance gave me goosebumps. The match gave me even more. Amazing debut, simply amazing.
I LOVED bloody Joe. Damn, i was rooting for him the entire match. He deserves the title now, just give it to him damnit. I aboslutely love to see again the fire in him, he's a reborned wrestler.

Okay, so Nakamura's theme song is amazing. His debut was equally as amazing as well. I hope he can do good here in 'Merica.

If they wanted Asuka to have a triumphant victory, they could have booked her to defeat Nix Jax for the title or some other heel who won it off Bayley. The crowd likes Asuka, but they like Bayley more, and were not happy she lost the title. I don't know what the bookers were going for here, but I don't think you can blame the fans on this one.

I just watched takeover again, and man I had goosebumps and was literally clapping and standing the whole time. FOR THE EnTIRE SHOW! Only one match Rock vs Hogan has ever done that every time I see it, and that was largely due to the crowd noise. This " ppv" was just awesome! Jordan and gable are just awesomeness. Gable will be a freaking star and Jordan has improved by 5000 percent in the last year, these guys both have the potential to headline Wrestlemania one day. I just love the revival, they just work for me. (Also back to Gable, did anyone notice how quickly he got the focus off the botched power bomb just by making a freaking chop look like it was the most brutal move ever in the history of the world).
Aries vs Corbin was okay. I love Aries and Corbin is still improving.
Zane vs Nakamura was unreal. I want to see Apoloo vs nakamura, just because the amount of charisma in the ring would be off the charts.
Balor vs Jow was great too, Joe was awesome, but at the end when Balor went psycho demon on him was great.

NXT tag team wrestling is freaking awesome. I love American Alpha, the Revival, the Vaudvillians and Blake and Murphy.
Also the theme music for NXT is awesome, Nakamura, Aries and Somoa Joe have some kick ass theme music.
