The next time we see Bobby Rhode on NXT, his entrance will (somehow) be even better. I was cracking up at the tapings. They're really going all the way with this gimmick and it's awesome.
And I won't stand for the Shinsuke slander in this thread. That man is a treasure and should only lose the title because he gets bored of being champion forever and wants to call himself up.

Wait, what? What does that have to do with anything? I've been a fan of Nakamura for years because I'm a massive nerd who watches NJPW but if the next guy isn't...who cares? Why should I get to decide who is and isn't a real fan?
Do I also get to say "None of you guys liked Kevin Owens when he was Kevin Steen in PWG so he sucks" as well? Has anybody here seen any Jon Moxley matches? Or those Claudio Castagnoli matches from Chikara when he had a ponytail and cheap suits? Probably not, but we still like these guys in WWE.
I'm sure a lot of the people who love Nakamura in NXT have never seen any of his Japanese matches, and probably had no idea who he was before he showed up. They like him now, though. And it's not because it's the popular thing to do or because somebody told them they're supposed to like him. For whatever reason, he resonates with the audience. If you don't like him, cool. Just say you don't like him. You don't even need a reason to dislike him. But when the overwhelming majority of the audience, both in Japan and America, find him entertaining and support him then it becomes silly to say he doesn't "deserve" a developmental title belt.

I just think it's way too early for Shinsuke to be the title holder in NXT. Same with Finn on RAW. Giving them the title can only lead to them going down.
Still a fan of both guys, though.

That was a pretty lame episode. I know they are trying to build new names but most of them still look sloppy.
I know it's only developmental but the bar has been set high.

This may sound weird but WWE.com has this pic...  ...up as their announcement to future NXT shows in California. And when I saw it all I could think of is how great is it that Roode is already a poster boy for the company! Dare I say it's Glorious? |
