I didn't think it was worth the price so I waited for a sale, I think the problem was the mask wasn't accurate, the same tank mold as Takers previous figures, the lack of details on the hardcore title and him being too thin. My personal problem was the paint error on his chest. Sucks but I can deal with it.

I like it, it's a good figure. But for an exclusive, the hardcore belt should've gotten much more effort put into it. First of all, it was dull. Next there forgot the blue stripes of paint like the hardcore belt always had. I like the figure, but I wish the belt was shiny i didn't care that the belt had the painted blue stripes on the belt, AT LEAST they tried to make it WAY different than the JAKKs version of the belt (not to mention, they didn't painted the beltwhy did they give it to "Sparky Plug" Bob Holly figure) i think the mask is accurate, it's just sheltered beneath the hair and the red is a bit bright, there was a perfect amount of detail on the belt itself ,i think that mold worked for this Kane, Kane was somewhat fat at the time, but not overly muscley like he is now, same goes for his arms; which matched perfectly

I just don't think the figure is very unique...
When I think about all the different possibilities for an exclusive figure - Kane's "Hardcore" era just doesn't jump out at me as being that great....
To me - it just looks like any other Kane figure.

i like it but the mask colors were wrong and it's too skinny....makes Kane look like he weighs 160lbs. and the lazy painted "mesh" was another cheap-out for a "premium" figure

I didn't really notice till I seen the constant bicker but the belt was missing some colors, the mask isn't correct to me. There's more black than red and yeah the red is pretty bright. Been better if his body size was the same as e12 Kane but Kane dude loose a lot of muscle at the time because of his injury.

I hadn't gotten a good look at the figure until now. I don't think it's bad. The mesh could have been more detailed (especially considering what they've done on Elites like Fandango and RVD) and the red on the mask is a bit bright. Still, though, it's a good figure IMO.

i think its because the attire was just painted, the attire should have been a special mold with the details sculpted like the r3 figure. i also think its because if you look at pictures of kane from that era, he had really bulked up, the parts choices mattel made kane look wayy too skinny. I agree with everything you said. The painted on mesh detail looks really cheap, it would have been nice to see them make a new torso for the guy.

Mattel tackled the mesh work good without having to paint little lines onto it, and frankly it wouldn't have worked as well because pic related needed the ab crunch

I personally love that figure. And I especially like the Hardcore Championship belt. I wish they would do more oddball belts like that, even if they aren't the VAC belts

IMO it would've added greatly to the belt

I like it, a lot even, but here's my complaints:
1. The mask. It's almost the same as the main red mask that was on Elite 18. The red should be minimal on it. 2. The body is way too thin. 2001-2002 was his biggest period, and the figure doesn't show it. 3. It could've been a normal elite. It's a ridiculously bare package as an elite.

I was a fan of it from day one. Can't remember the exact reason, but there was alot of complains about it when it was released.

I didn't like it because much like Rock, it was exactly what we didn't want. Yes, people wanted that Kane but it didn't really justify an exclusive price with painted designs and a re-used head sculpt. Also, the matte Hardcore belt in its only release kinda bothered me. If anything it should have use the bronze color of the tag titles to give the dirty look.

Because people like to complain. I don't think it's that bad of a figure, but it wasn't something I had to have in my collection either.

Coz it's lazy garbage that's why.
Especially the head....the mask style is totally different from the reuse they used. It just came across as Mattel didn't put any care, effort or heart into it so.....why should I?

I think it's cool, I just ordered it last week but it won't arrive for a while because I ordered it with Elite 29 and Ringside Exclusive Rock.

It might be me but I find it too skinny compared to his other Elites, and I don't like how the Hardcore title isn't painted. Otherwise, I don't really dislike it, it's a nice figure.
