So, It seems like the Ringside Exclusive Kane gets a lot of hate, and I have no idea why! I have it and it's one of my favorites! Does anyone have a specific reason as to why they don't like this figure? (other than the fact that the belt wasn't shiny, because they physically couldn't have done that)

I like it as well.
Only negative i think is its kinda too thin around the waist..

I have it and i love it. I loved that attire and I think they nailed it. I dunno why anyone wouldn't like but I'm not surprised that they don't

Oh man...there was a huge thread where people were picking it apart, and honestly it isn't terrible, but it isn't as good as it easily could have been. Just a lazy effort. It should have been amazing like the R3 version of that attire, but Mattel just sort of mailed it in on this one. They didn't even try on the mesh. The hardcore belt is the main thing that sold that figure, and even that is missing paint.
It just isn't up to the standards we've come to expect from Mattel, especially at an exclusive price.

Personally, I think it's fine apart from the head. The flashback Kane head looks very cartoonish to me, the R3 head is awesome.
Of course, it has too small a waist, but plenty of elites have that same problem. I think Elite 23 Undertaker wears a size zero shirt.

Its a good figure, it looks good overall. But upon closer inspection, more effort in details on the attire could've been put on the figure seeing as its an exclusive. I'm ok with the belt it comes with though. Its just that the figure could've been better.
If the figure was a normal mass release, it wouldn't be such a big deal. The thing is that the figure was released as an exclusive, but the lack of effort on the figure doesn't make it feel or look like an exclusive.

I like it, it's a good figure. But for an exclusive, the hardcore belt should've gotten much more effort put into it. First of all, it was dull. Next there forgot the blue stripes of paint like the hardcore belt always had. I like the figure, but I wish the belt was shiny

I just didn't need another masked Kane. And as was stated, the hardcore belt wasn't accurate enough. If he was my first offering of a masked Kane I would've jumped on him, but the elite flashback Kane was the one I really wanted, so I wasn't going to pay exclusive price for Hardcore Kane.
I feel the same about the Rock. I don't need another older Rocky either, and I have no use for his accessories, especially at the exclusive price point.
Now figures like Brock Lesnar in tights and Cactus Jack will get my money.

I love the figure to death my second favorite attire of Kane reminds me of when he won the hardcore title at wrestlemania still love that match.

I actually have plans on purchasing this one soon lol, if it is still in stock by the time I get around to it of course. Off topic, I wish the Cactus Jack was a bit cheaper to purchase. I could've sworn back in the Fall that the price value was much more pleasant on the consumer; I guess with the limited production of the figure, RSC must be running out of them.

I bought it since I collect all Elite Kane figures. Hopefully their next RSC exclusive for Kane would be inverted E12.

i think its because the attire was just painted, the attire should have been a special mold with the details sculpted like the r3 figure. i also think its because if you look at pictures of kane from that era, he had really bulked up, the parts choices mattel made kane look wayy too skinny.    even compared to his debut figure, it looks smaller.. |

I actually like the figure, but have yet to see it in person though.
I'll get around to purchasing it eventually, but for now I'm still catching up on previous releases.
The only thing that I really don't care too much for about it is that the waist is a little bit too small, but other than that it's a solid figure.

For me personally it was because the 2001 version of Kane was my favorite. Mattel really gives quality figures and honestly I thought they were holding out this attire to go all out. Pretty much every elite Kane has been different, the E12 has it's own torso mold. This figure could of benefited from a new body mold and new head sculpt, little things like the bad paint job on the mask effect it to the lack of gloss on his boots and the skinny arms really affect the overall look of the figure. Overall it was disappointing imo because 1. It was an exclusive 2.we all know how awesome Mattel is and how great their work is but this fell under our expectations.
