Steve Perry Phil Collins Metallica Rush (x5) Jethro Tull (x3) Deftones (x4) Matt Good/Band (x5) Colin Hay Our Lady Peace (x2) Dave Matthews Band Misfits Dillinger Escape Plan The Killers Genesis Gin Blossoms George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic Candlebox Plus a whole bunch of other free ones. When I lived in Buffalo I went to the free concert series Thursday at the Square every week, many of which were unmemorable.
For the most part all were awesome. Steve Perry will always be high on the list because it was my first, and because it was just awesome. He is one hell of an entertainer, and I don't care what anyone says, Journey is garbage without him. All of the Rush shows were amazing, they put on one HELL of a show. I would put them up against just about anyone. Phil was awesome too, better than the Genesis show, which was also good. The Killers were amazing and I was super close. I shook Brandon's hand at the end. Matt Good and Colin Hay are in a league of their own. One part standup comedy, one part awesome music. Met both after shows. OLP are always awesome, I was with my brother from another mother at both, but I was also absolutely wasted at both, so I remember little more than having an amazing time. I can't say anything bad about any of these shows really. All were so amazing. In the words of Mark Henry, referring to concerts, THATS WHAT I DO!!! THATS WHAT I DO!!!!
I hope to hit Coachella next year if possible. Road trips for concerts are the best.

I'm sure he would def put on a great show. I definitely didn't want to turn you off from going to any, but I just meant to say that I see a difference personally in going now that I'm older to rock shows with general admission pits. There's just a huge lack of respect for other people & their safety (always was, but too old to want to deal with it any longer). There's always the chance somebody will suck, but then there's some once in a lifetime live performances I'll see on youtube that just would be so great to see live. I guess it's a crap shoot. I forgot that I'd seen Motley Crue (3 times actually) & only once was truly good. Creed 3 times & all were very good. Switchfoot..hearing 2 songs live was something pretty special. Some shows, I was in the very front & if I wasn't strong enough to push my own weight back, I'd have been crushed against the rail by the massive weight of other people pushing forward. One show, a band set off like a baby powder explosion as a prank to another band & I couldn't breathe for a very, very long time..I almost had a serious medical issue. I also had a friend get bashed in the head by a crowd surfer's 5 inch heel (and she kept going back up until security stepped in, drunken fool). I had an old lady yell at me and my brother for no reason other than she didn't like us; then the husband tried to step in. Then there's the 300 lb plus 6 foot 5 jerks that will come last minute and push their way in front of you with it too crowded to do anything about. forgot to mention: Alterbridge; Korn & Disturbed (they really sucked live, really sucked..stadium and far away, so couldn't get into it much anyway); I got to go up on stage with drowning pool though, they were very good live with the second singer I'd love to see U2 & Norah Jones, would've loved to have seen Green Day back in the day or Amy Winehouse (always, always been my favorite) before she passed Don't worry, you didn't turn me off of concerts. Also, when I said that there were very few people I'd like to see live, Amy Winehouse was at the very top of my list! That's cool. I have been such a huge fan of hers since the 'Back to Black' album first came out, that album got me through some seriously rough times. She had some bad live performances, but the live SXSW acoustic stuff from austin is just unreal (for both Back to Black and Love Is A Losing Game) (if you haven't seen it, live performances don't get better than this in my opinion..the build up & the crowd is so silent - doesn't even make a peep) plus her show in london at shepherd's bush empire was incredible too, 'He Can Only Hold Her' from that concert where she incorporates 'Doo Wop/That Thing' from Lauryn Hill is just unreal The best part about watching all of her live videos is that she never once gave the same performance, always little changes to note emphasis or something & when she was on her game..man

I refuse to delete it, its so good!

Oh, I also saw Three Six Mafia once if you count them being a surprise at a Justin Timberlake show at a club in Memphis. That roof nearly flew off. We went ape crap and I was mega close to the stage. It was a big party. JT was getting throwed on stage. Probably the best show I've ever seen

I have a giant book full of ticket stubs and stuff, I should really sit down and write 'em down one day. Lots of metal. Ozzy / Black Sabbath over 20 times Children of Bodom over 25 times Slayer over 12 times All That Remains countless times Into Eternity half a dozen times Black Label Society over 10 times Amon Amarth nearing 10 times Machine Head about 6 times GWAR about 6 times Dethklok twice Went to every Ozzfest since '99, most Mayhem Fests, a good amount of other big metal tours like Summer Slaughter, Sounds of the Underground, etc. throughout the years. I've seen so many on those bills I couldn't begin to think of them, though I don't really consider most of them since I had other bands in mind when attending

I'm honestly not much of a concert person. I went to a couple of festival type gigs when I was very young but I barely remember them. I think I seen The Buzzcocks, my dad got me into them back then.
I've been to 4 Fozzy gigs in total here in Glasgow. May 2010, November 2011, November 2012 and August 2013. Always a really fun night. Definitely won't be my last time seeing them.

There's only 2 bands left that I really really need to see before I die. First one would be Foo Fighters, second Tenacious D. I'd also kill to go back in time to go to a Nirvana show but since that is impossible I'll have to se(a)ttle with that (see what I did there )
