Hey Punk, Lonely Virgil says "hello." Enjoy it while it lasts..... Probably the only time in his life he has reason to be jealous of Virgil.

I'm more surprised people still care about what he is/isn't doing. This.

What did he expect to happen?
This is the world we live in. People are crazy, overbearing, and creepy fanatics. Every single person that is famous today, knew exactly that when they wanted to become famous. I guess this is a case of be careful what you wish for? IDK. He sounds like he's sour that he can't have his cake and eat it too..
"OMG, I wanna be super famous, and one of the biggest stars of all time... OMG, why do all of these people bug me, they won't leave me alone."
You can't be a star, have millions of dollars, get broadcast to the entire world on TV or in movies.. And expect your life to be normal.

Famous people aren't interesting, most of them still make eggs in the morning like people who wait outside of houses wish they could if they weren't busy being stupid. Also to be fair, knowing a few musicians, no they don't all think of that fact when they become famous. They don't expect that their work will effect people the way it can. Should Punk be friendlier? Maybe. But maybe he could handle it better by creating opportunities for it through a signings in the area. Give people the outlet til they don't care to see you, wear your image out locally.

I would probably feel more sympathy towards CM Punk but he's always come across as a gigantic douchebag so...don't really feel too bad for him.

I definitely don't believe Natalie would say anything about Punk for publicity as those two have known each other for 20 some years and she's probably the closest person to him outside of his adopted family. It sucks for him, but you know, couldn't happen to a nicer guy

I love how the comments in this thread prove every word she wrote. When people hear he just wants to live a private life everyone rolls their eyes and act like he's the one doing wrong.

EVERYONE is aware of what it could potentially lead too, including the musicians you know. Saying that they do it "for the art" or "for the love", while it may be true, is only a way to save face. These people make movies, make music, wrestle, whatever, hoping to get recognition. Whatever that recognition may be.. "This band, their music, helped me so much through hard times." That's what they want? That's recognition.. The same can be said about any popular culture profession. And some people have sad lives, dude. That's reality as well. They idolize these people that are everything they're not, it interests them. Alot of the time to the extreme.. But this is the world we live in, and it's not going to change.

I call BS on this story. This chick is making Punk appear to be a bigger star than he really is. I don't even think The Rock or Hogan deal with weirdo stalkers like this and they're levels beyond Punk. Lol at fans hiding by his dumpster, Ridiculous. He's nothing special, WWE will keep pushing without him.

As far as Punk being "retired", it's very hard to believe that. I would be very shocked if he never wrestled again. I'm sure he'll settle for a part time deal down the line and that would make him a huge hypocrite.

I agree, and being from Chicago, particularly close to where Punk lives, I've seen him in person a few times on the cta and nobody said a WORD to him. Amazing.

If i saved my money like Punk id easily take an early retirement and if he has i dont blame him. The guy has pretty much did what he set out to do. Sleeping in until about noon, reading comics in bed, watching dvds, ddpyoga, walk the dog...id quite happily live like that the rest of my days. No pressure to work...i can dream.

i really hope he returns. he reminds me of bret hart in that he believes in his character quite a bit, and i have respect for that even if a lot of people consider that taking it too seriously. rather he returns of not, solid career.
