This figure is cool I like it a lot can't wait to get it! I especially love the ECW title and the ECW microphone nice additions to the figure.

Completely accurate or not, it looks great. I just ordered mine. I can't wait to get it. He'll be my first RSC exclusive, though I'll be getting the loose Bret Hart and nWo Savage figures with it.  |

Idk how I never noticed the trunks being screwed up before. Jakks made the red trunks with Punk logo as well I believe and I'm thinking that's why I thought it was a legit attire.
Either way it looks like something he would have done honestly.

I dont relly care for the punk as I dont feel the need for any other than the awesome E16 but it does look awesome in your display. I just really wish they had painted the side plates on the ECW title. I only want this figure for the belt and mic to give to my Kane display.

he wore those exact trunks at a roh show in FEB 06 when he signed with wwe, i told this story on here once before.. so i'll keep it short. but i was working with roh we had a show in long island on a sat night.. weather was calling for massive blizzard in northeast to begin about 8-9pm.... so all the tna talent that was working our event sat night , was gunna fly out after the show to make it to orlando, but tna demanded they skip the roh show and fly out before it so they were guaranteed to be in orlando.. which i understand since it was a ppv... so only ARIES stayed with us caue hes the man.. roderick, sabin, lethal,and a few more cant recall at this time.. anywho.. roh office knew this might happen so thurs night they called punk and asked, punk got permission from wwe T.R. and flew in to main event and save the show.. and i remember he wore the exact trunk on this figure.... atleast they were red with the punk letters that same way on butt... i def can attest to that.
anywho... figure looks cool, captures awesome beginning of his wwe career which happened thanks to heyman , and quicker thanks to the tragedy of benoit.... plus everyone gets the ECW championship title which would look great on dreamer or RVD...or RVD with that and the spinner for a great memory of that night... thanks to mattel for bringing all these memories alive!!

im gonna have to guess though that Mattel/RSC didn't base this figure on a one-off ROH appearance early in his WWE career.
I'd be willing to bet they just did it because since they never bothered to poll us about what attire we wanted (red or yellow) they just merged both together as a "fantasy" attire...like them putting the KANE logo on the glove of Hardcore Kane despite him never wearing that glove and the glove was only sold through WWE shop

The reason they made it was because it's cheaper to produce. There are less tattoos, simple 2 color attire, and simple accessories. Basically all you're paying extra for is the carding. Let's be honest here.

Good chance this is what happened with the Kane glove but maybe he was just wearing the wwe shop one in that photo shoot. Surely all of this comes back to being provided with inaccurate studio reference shots. |
