It did get cancelled, and it's a damn shame.
I still think there'll be six seasons and a movie though. Even if it takes 10 years.

This sucks. It's my favorite comedy on television.

The quality dwindled the last two season, five was better than 4 obviously but it still lost a lot once Pierce and Troy were out of the group. I still would have liked to see it end after 6 seasons, just to fulfill that #6seasonsandamovie movement.

I always preferred parks and rec. And they're actually doing one last season next year as well. NBC comedy's are officially gone.

i enjoyed about 5 episodes of the entire series...but i'd imagine it's difficult to keep it going with no chevy or glover and pretty low ratings

I never really got into Community but with NBC, it was lucky it lasted as long as it did. Usually when I enjoy one of their shows, it gets cancelled in less than one season. I have now decided not to watch any NBC shows until it gets past the 5th season and then I'll catch up. I know Community has been on the chopping block every season since it began but somehow survived until now.

That's a bummer, I was a big fan of the show since the start...

I don't watch it but it does suck for fans of the show.
I think it has a shot of being picked up by another network/Netflix though.

I never cared for the show. You should be happy it got 6 seasons. Not too many shows get to last that long.

Sony will try it's damndest to find some channel/streaming service to take it. Hulu would make the most sense since Universal is one of the production companies that produces Community and they own a chunk of Hulu. Another network could pick it up. Especially if they give them the hugely discounted deal they gave Fox to keep 'Till Death on the air for four years.

Well there have been a number of shows I liked and they didnt get past the first season so Community had a good run. PLUS it's on dvd which is more than a lot of shows can claim.

I'm amazed at the amount of Americans that don't like this show or are indifferent; being Australian I was lucky to see this show at all on free-to-air TV, and have the first 3 seasons on DVD...I understand it's an acquired taste and there are so many other well-written and acted shows out there, not just comedies, but yeah, I love this show as much as Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Peep Show and Veep...

I hope Netflix gets it. Also Donald Glover was rumored to return for season six. He only left because he though Dan Harmon hated him, which confuses Dan Harmon.
I have to say, I think NBC (like most networks who cancel cult shows) was really stupid to do this. It's a constant toss up between them and Fox for sucking most.
