Ok, well i didnt get an answer to my question for a whole day, and im still waiting, so i might as well answer your question the best i can. I've done it a few times, and im not the greatest at it, but im ok.
First off you gotta hollow out the head with a screwdriver, knife, screwgun, anything that can dig the hole in the head about the same as an ra so it can rest on the big RA shoulders. Now this isnt a walk in the park, so u better have a little time on your hands if its your first, cuz u gotta try your hardest to get it like u want, and dont get frusterated.
After you have it like u want, put it on and maybe even glue it if it doesnt hold right. Thats pretty much it.
Hope i helped.

Oh and by the way, make sure u have a pot of boiling water on the stove through all this, cus ur gunna keep having to pop the heads on and off until u finally hollow it correctly, so bowling water makes it much easier.

Or if your not too fussly about how the head fits just sjimply pop it off your ttl with boiling watter and put on your ra. I have done that for a coulpe figs and itw was good enough for governmnet work (as my bio teacher used to say).

This is the easiest way to explain it (and that I do it)
- Hollow out the head so that it fits over the neck properly. You'll see the excess plastic when you look and something simple like a scissor can take it out.
- Then, once you have the excess stuff out of there, start making the hole already in the head go down further. This is what you'll need to do to push the ball joint into the head far enough so that it doesn't appear as if the neck is way too long. Just keep digging it out a little bit at a time and popping it back on to see how much farther you have to go.
- If needed, you can superglue the head to the top of the ball joint, still allowing the head to move around like a human would but it prevents it from "rising up" or somehow else coming out of place, which has happened to me on occasion.
If you'd like pics with these instructions, let me know because I may do another TTL to RA head conversion tomorrow and take pictures of it. I've done four so far, and all have gone fairly well I think. It also didn't take me a lot of time either.
