I was legit marking out in the banter thread. Germany really creates spaces easily.

USA only let in 1 against Germany. Therefore USA >Brazil.
Thought Germany would win but never saw this coming. No way they shouldn't win the World Cup now.

Embarrassing performance for Brazil. Quite a few cracks had been covered up on the road to the final. All showing now.

Christ. Missing this game was the best possible thing for Neymar, he's the only one left unscathed.
Hope the German's don't get complacent for the final now, or peak too soon. Would love a Germany-Holland final.

Wow, what a complete capitulation. The way it happened was just shocking, memorable, special, stunning. Huge wake up call for Brazil, was only so far the 12th man could take them. They lost all discipline, the centre mids couldn't keep hold of the ball, the full backs were playing as wingers, the centre backs were chasing tackles up on the half way line. As for Germany, so many people didn't think about them for this Tournament. The reality is, they were always the most sensible bet. 7 of there starting 11 play for the same Club side. They're well drilled, organised, clinical and can play, not phased by the occasion at all. A solid spine surrounded by ballers that know their role and job. Will take something special for Holland or Argentina to overcome that whole Team.

I said on page one that Germany would win, Brazil would bottle it under the pressure, people were figuring Spain out and that Argentina might do well because their run through the QFs was really easy. Just need the Germans to win now haha.
I keep forgetting Germany are missing one of their best players in Reus too, makes all this even more impressive.

I think the majority in general wrote them off because they didn't really have a star player that most other Sides do. The bigger picture though is that their whole team is really, really good at what they do. 9pm can't come soon enough now. Think it could be a lot more cagey after last night, although once a goal goes in it could open the Game right up. Argentina would probably pose more of a threat to the Germans as they're more dynamic going forward, however a Germany/Holland derby and Brazil/Argentina 3rd place would both be interesting to watch.
