Quality game that's an actual improvement over the last few years > A rushed effort of a game, put together so that it's able to capture Christmas sales from people who will eventually buy the game anyways.

I seem to recall them moving the release date closer to WrestleMania. Not a terrible idea. Miss out on the Christmas rush, but right there where interest in wrestling is at it's highest.

Not bothered. Once I unlocked everything in 2K14, I sold back my other WWE XBOX games to Gamestop.

While the fiscal year ends in March 2015, the game could still easily release in October like it usually does but if it takes until next March to get a great game, I'll wait. That scanning is really not like what they did for TNA iMPACT, the facial expressions and such Justin Gabriel is doing is reminiscent of what EA Sports did with their UFC game.

I'm all for them waiting to release WWE 2k15 in March IF (AND ONLY IF) it means them doing somewhat of a rehaul of the game to give it a new feel to it. I feel like ive been playing sorta the same game for the last 5-6 years now. If releasing it later means its a more accurate roster, a better graphics system, and better gameplay, then by all means release it in March. If I get WWE 2k14 again in a WWE 2k15 box and have to wait until March, then it will kill the franchise for me.

While I'd be completely fine with this as it would give them extra time to work on the game, there is no chance that WWE will let them not release a game before the end of the year.

This proves that 2K actually gives a Damn. It will be odd to not have a new WWE game this year, but it'll be worth the extra wait.

Anyone expecting an all new gameplay experience might be let down. Yuke's are still the primary developers with Visual Concepts assisting in the development of the game.

Surely all we should be thinking about is the fact that we'll be getting a much better game because they're obviously wanting to focus on it a lot more than previous installments. |

I'm totally ok with this but only if the game genuinely feels refreshed and isn't solely to boost sales capitalizing on WM hype. I want the longer time frame only f the game has actual visual and noticeable improvement. I know they won't completely overhaul the mechanics but they could at least try and get the visual to a higher standard closer to like TNA did do.

It's not a fact that the game being pushed back means it'll be better. Duke Nukem Forever should be the greatest game ever, if you follow that logic. That said, I do think the game coming out much later has the potential to result in a better product depending on how they spend the development time. If they spend it more on fixing the bugs that have existed for years as well as any new bugs that are sure to make themselves known, we're in for a hell of a game. If they spend more time on presentation than ironing out and fine tuning the game (like they've done in the past), we could end up with WWE 2K14: Same Sh-t, Different Day edition. Not that I'd consider that a bad thing, I actually like WWE 2K14. |

Thanks for posting. It's just stating what other sites are posting. "They add that development of the game is being completely handled by Visual Concepts, the developer behind the NBA 2K series." It's already been confirmed that Yuke's are still the main developers with Visual Concepts assisting them. Not sure why some sites copy everything about the circulating news stories except for crucial kind of facts like that. |
