It's funny because I think since she was brought up, the Divas have been performing better.
Though I think that may be with WWE wanting people to start caring about them.

Paige has gotten over despite WWE's poor booking. That's when you know someone has it.

Paige has gotten over despite WWE's poor booking. That's when you know someone has it. Yet she's Diva's champion..Not WWE's fault at all, they shoved her to the top.

The problem isn't with Paige, but rather her booking. Every single match that she has had repeats the same cycle. She gets her ass kicked for a good majority of the bout, gets a bit of offense in, screams and then slaps on the Scorpion Crosslock. It has done a good job of getting her over and familiarizing the audience with her moveset, but it is becoming very repetitive. I don't really see this format changing until AJ Lee returns to resume their feud. Hopefully with TV emanating from the UK next week, she'll finally get some proper mic time. She's way better than her debut promo would suggest.

Being a champion doesn't mean you are being booked well. Paige has been made to look weak in almost every match she's had on the main roster so far. And her debut was terribly handled.

Not much you can do with such few divas who can actually put on a good match on the roster. Her match with Fox on Raw wasn't horrible but still it wasn't the best either.

She's maintained my attention. And THAT my friends, is an impressive feat.

And who would you book her against? There are good options already on the roster but WWE have done nothing to make anyone care about any of them. This past week with Alicia Fox is the first interesting thing they've done with any of the Divas since AJ became champion last year. If WWE actually gave the Divas some personality, storylines and mic time, the fans would care about the division more.

Okay, I'd book her against Alicia at Payback since they've started something off there and it got good heat on Raw. Then it depends if AJ returns. If she does, AJ/Paige trilogy through MITB/Battleground/SummerSlam. If she doesn't return, a short respect feud with Natalya.

She's not "get massive pops every week" over, but the fans clearly like her. Listen to how much the crowd rallied behind her on Raw. There's also positive live event reports coming out.

Where were all these threads when AJ wasn't even having any decent matches. Never knew so many people would just start hating Paige for the stupidest reasons.
She's been on the main roster about five weeks (one of which she hasn't even appeared) and has pretty much won the title and had random matches. She hasn't been given a chance to do anything at all since she's debuted. She's not to blame for it in the slightest. They haven't given her an interesting character, they haven't given her on screen promo time, they haven't given her any kind of feud in the slightest. In order to judge someone they maybe need to be given an opportunity to show what they can actually do

Anyone ever notice that its always bookings fault and never the wrestler? I miss the days where a booker could do something completely stupid like give a world champion & future hall of famer, polka dots and the WRESTLER get the gimmick over.....Now days, nope....Its bookings fault that a wrestler cant click with the crowd.

It does seem like the divas have picked up their game recently, this may have nothing to do with Paige, but they certainly are at least attempting to wrestle now.
