I completely understand. I was out of collecting for years and the WMXXX Shawn Michaels got me back in it. Since then my collection has grown very fast the past month. Add in the Shield and Warrior, I was hooked. Been all over it since. I have not collected figures since the Jakk's days. It has been cool to see the new stuff and what is still coming out.

so, you want elbow pads over cool accessories like a belt and glasses for $18.99 OP, are you high as a kite? He's not high, he's just from the Jakks days when figures came with elbow and knee pads, AND some kind of accessory. I agree that Mattel charges too much for their figures, but 18.99 is a decent price compared to what I see at most TRU and Targets. It's sad to say 18.99 is a decent price but these arent the Jakks days anymore. Kids these days dont care about accessories or variety. They just want Cena in every color they can get him. I was firm against buying mattel figures at first. I thought they looked horrible compared to Jakks, dont bash me im just telling you how I felt. Plus they were twice the price. Those first figures had the worst face scans I had seen in a long time, IMHO. It wasnt till I found most of the legends on clearance for 3 dollars each that I started buying Mattel. Even now I only buy when there is a first time in the line figure, or there is some kind of good sale or they make characters I grew up with in the Hogan era. Just going by those examples it is rare that I buy a Mattel figure. I love finding nice figures at stores but Mattel rarely makes old school characters and when they do its short packed so it makes collecting extremely frustrating. One day there will be a figure on the pegs you really like or want and it will get you back into buying. |

When they do release a set it is in the old Deluxe version. I never cared for the deluxe figures myself. I think that if we compare value of what you get for your money Jakks has a better deal. You get 1 wrestler figure for about half the price as Mattel. Of course though these days if you want more figures to accompany your purchase then you might consider buying Mattel, they release a lot more figures per year compared to Jakks. |

The freaking WM 14 HBK just sucked me back in last week (first figure I've purchased in about a year) and since then I've also bought WM10 Bret Hart, Brock/Batista 2 pack, Mr. Perfect basic, Road Dogg, Ultimate Warrior SS92, Billy Gunn, RVD elite, Batista and Orton basics... I'm outta control right now haha

Still trying to find some small red knee pads for my Michaels cause I'm not sure of myself at painting ha ha. I hope you enjoy, it's an amazing figure.  |

Just FYI: The logo's supposed to be off-center. It's based on his WrestleMania X attire, which had the logo a bit off-center.

But this is an amazing figure and I have him on display with the strap on at all times so it's less noticeable to me. I think they're probably a couple of bucks more at retail than the regular Elites but you're only way of getting a DM these days is online. I got my DM Bret from Amazon for like $25. Edit: new and used starting from $29 which isn't too bad.  |

Those are some tough gets and costly as well. Just search, I'm constantly looking for the best deal. I myself need an Elite Kane just can't bring myself to paying $70 plus for the one I want MOC. |
