Why is wwe lacking so much in good storylines for the tag division. Only story's we have had are random team or teams face the usos. Where is the storylines?
Edit: I just realized we only have about 5 teams
Usos (champs)
Rybaxel
Rhodes brothers (soon to be gone)
Los Matadores

It seemed for a while that they were rebuilding the tag team division when Team Hell No were the champs and then it just kinda dwindled down to what it is now: a handful of teams with pretty much no story-building whatsoever.

Team hell no brought back the tag division.
We saw the rise of the shield hell no broke and daneil Bryan became a huge name, golduat and Cody got mega over and won the titles NAO were pretty cool to see back. But they've killed off the rhodes' hype broke up PTP and disbanded The real Americans. They had a good 3 teams going and within a month canned the lot of em.
Now we have the usos and rybaxel two guys who couldn't do crapon their own so got landed as a tag team of heyman rejects. Cody and goldust are slowly breaking up its a shame cause the tag division was actually one of my favourite parts of raw when the Rhodes brothers stepped up.

They've had some like The Shield vs The Brotherhood over their jobs. However, the division is lame now. It was great at the tail end of 2013 but breaking up the PTP, Real Americans and soon Cody and Goldust hurt. Not to mention that the Shield are out of the division.

i don't like the usos i...i'm sorry You're not the only one. WWE letting Abraham Washington go from the PTP was the start of the downfall. He was golden. Other than that, the only good storyline from the tag division was Shield v. The Rhodes Brothers |

I don't even think they need "storylines" at this point to get the division over. Put some of the talented, but underused guys into teams and let them go out and steal the show. The inherent "can you top that" rivalries will be more than enough. Of course, the Usos wouldn't be able to keep up, but at least it would lead to some great matches.

I'm still pretty upset they broke up Prime Time Players. same here man......they clearly aren't gonna do anything with either guy. They had a great team there that was over and they were broken up for nothing.....If they hadn't went on the Rampage and broke up all these teams they could possibly have now Uso's PTP Shield(Rollins & Ambrose) Rhodes Brothers 3MB Real Americans Los Matadores Ryback & Axel Harper & Rowan. its a pretty good lineup. but they need to assign stories to them. 3MB and Los Matadores have been feuding on Superstars since forever it feels!! |

Yeah I'd love to see a good tag team storyline. Maybe have one jealous over the other one getting the attention? One guy likes the other guy's girlfriend? One guy keeps getting the pin-falls while the other guy is looking weaker? Something anything!

Man do I miss the tag team scene back in the 80's and early 90's. Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, Killer Bees, Demoliton, Strike Force, Sheik and Volkoff, Young Stallions, Orient Express, Brain Busters, LOD, Stieners, Quebecers, Money INC, there was such a deeper roster of teams. Now, it's simply viewed as a time filler, or a gimmick main event match when two main event guys are thrown together into a tag match.
I think when they debuted the Unified Tag Team Championship and the belts were bronze, it signaled to the fans what WWE thinks of it's tag division. It's 3rd tier at best. Not good enough for gold belts anymore.
If the writers would focus on individual wrestlers caught in mid-card hell, they might actually come up with some great teams. And please, no more having the word "Team" in a tag name (Team Hell No, Team Rhodes Scholars). We know they're a team, you don't have to spell it out for us.

You could do like Beer Money /MCMG (and others I'm sure chill) just have two teams feud over the belts and trying to get the best of each other. |
