I'm looking to move to Mattel figures and have a few Jakks legends (loose). Is there still a marketing for selling these? how much should I be looking at getting for them?

I believe so. On ebay it would be easy. Not worth much though.

Loose Jakks has plummeted. Certain loose classic superstars seem to do okay, as do loose figures from the final RA, DA, CS, and AD sets. Otherwise, modern RAs for instance, have plummeted in value. Mattel has finally sunk their claws even into the most diehard of Jakks loyalists. A mass Exodus to any brand over another causes the market to flood and values to topple. Most toy lines are like this. You're either the oldest or the brand newest set. Only Transformers seems to be free of this curse. If anything, the only bad Transformer, value wise, is a brand new one.

You would be surprised that there is. There is a ton of Jakks figures that Mattel will never make so if they can't have a Mattel they will buy the Jakks figure. I have a friend who is selling his old Jakks figures on eBay and is always selling one

I sold ally carded classic superstars and the collection was massive and extensive!!! You have to find a toy dealer that buys collections i think that is a good way to go try and get rid of them all at once!! I actually sold my collection to a fellow WFIG member over 500 carded figs!!!

Well that depends on the figure and its condition. In theory anything could be worth a lot of money to someone. Maybe a little Matt Hardy fig you do not really care for is the only Matt figure someone is missing from their insane, back room creepy Matt shrine.
In seriousness, your best bet would be to do some research. Some figs are just not worth anything more than a secondhand shop would give you for them, and some might be worth a bit more...that goes for any collectable, even WWE figs and stuff.

Ya if your planning on selling your Classic Superstars you should do it now. There wont be a better time to do it. The prices will continue to go down. I dont see them hitting rock bottom like BCA though. But really the only older lines that can make you any cash are Jakks Classic Superstars and LJN figures. Maybe Jakks Deluxe Classic too.

Jakks figures still do extremely well for me. Out of all of the categories of figures that I sell in my eBay store, my #1 selling category is Jakks Ruthless Aggression, and #3 is Classic Superstars.

The TTL's are hit and miss, but the popular RA's such as the AD 1 Jeff Hardy are still worth quite a bit.
