Two WWEWHC briefcases matches. I could imagine them both coming out and arguing over who gets the match.

They are never going to split the titles. They wouldn't have put them together if they were going to split them back up. I love the MITB, I wouldn't mind one for the IC title. Brock Lesnar as the Undisputed Champion was pre-Brand Extension and it was a way for the WWE to absorb the WCW Championship History. Once they committed to the Brand Extension it became necessary to have the TWO World Champions. The whole point of the Brand Extension was to do everything to keep Raw & Smackdown completely separate. If you look back to the early days of the Brand Extension you had the World, Intercontinental, Women's & World Tag Team Champions on Raw. Smackdown had the WWE, United States, Cruiserweight & WWE Tag Team Champions on their show, then the main belts were switched via the draft. The Cruiserweight was dropped in favor of the Diva's Championship and the Tag Team belts became the first belts unified during the Brand Extension era. Everyone runs on and on about splitting up the belts, but without the brand extension there is absolutely no point. This is why the WWE over the last couple of years has quietly unified the Tag Team and Diva's/Womens belts. They simply don't have the star power to run a "Brand Extension" anymore. Sure the roster are somewhat split for the House show circuit, but that has been like that, on and off, since the mid 80's (if not earlier). If you watch some of the 80's stars documentaries they all mention that when they were put on Hogan's Tour they would make more money from the gate because he was the biggest draw in the company. Many of the old house shows usually had Hogan travelling against his opponent of the month and either the Intercontinental or Tag Team Champions were on the under card. The other belt, or both at times would travel as part of the "B" Show roster. Hell at one time the WWE even had a "C" roster that did smaller events and venues. I compare the current product the mid 80's in terms of how they are treating their house show tours. Cena travels with one group of guys (He either has the belt or headlines over the IC/US/Tag belts and the reigning WWE World Champion travels with the other group with one or two belts traveling on that tour as well (usually the Diva's). If the WWE didn't put all their eggs in the Cena basket they would have numerous stars who were on his level and they wouldn't need all the part time guys they keep bringing in (Brock, Batista, RVD & Jericho to name a few). Also if the WWE got rid of all the "Writers" and let guys and gals who know how the business works to book and plot out the shows. The under card matches would actually be creating new stars on a more frequent basis. I honestly think at the current rate they are going the WWE will be stuck in an era similar to when Hogan left once Cena hangs up his boots. At that point the WWE will be working hard on creating the next big thing and we may see numerous guys tried out at the top spot before they WWE once again puts all their eggs into a single basket. (It seems to the way they do business) As for the MITB. I would love to see one briefcase, but I would like to see them open it up so the winner can challenge for ANY championship at anytime. For example, say Luke Harper wins the MITB, he could come out one night on Raw with Rowan in tow and cash in against the Tag Team Champions. A guy like Zack Ryder could win it and instead of going after the WWE World Championship he could cash in against either the US or IC Champs. I know whenever I play my 2K14 if the winner of the MITB doesn't look like a guy I could see going after the World Titles I have them cash in on the lower tiered champs.

If they strip Daniel Bryan of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.... and put it up for grabs at Money In The Bank....
And hang the TWO belts, with the top 6 contenders vying in a ladder match to determine the new champion.....
And through a "schmoz" - two guys simultaneously pull down each of the two different belts.....
We have two separate champions again?
Book it....
