Are there any figures other than the R3 style that don't have hands/wrists as one piece?

ra, just put a flat screwdriver under the hand (like if you put it under the leg or forearm) pull and separate

Boil up some water & (just hold the figure over the water, and) place the hands part you want to switch for 10 seconds (or even less) in the water.
Take out the hands from the water & shake off the rest of the hot water on it.
The plastic is soft enough for you just pull the hand part right off the peg in the wrist. (I use my teeth sometimes.)
Then just switch the parts you wanna switch. You might have to boil the hand parts again if the plastic becomes too stiff to put the hand part back on the peg. (Use some tongs to do that.)
