Hey guys. I have been getting bad headaches the past week or two. Anything to help. I have been staying away from soda/chocolate as it does not help I heard.

Acetaminophen is my go to. Chocolate and caffeine just make headaches (unless it is due to caffeine withdraw in which situation you need it) but a small dose of Advil will drop it for you.

If you normally drink a lot of soda that could be the reason. You could be having withdrawls from the caffeine. Actually, consuming a soda could very well help your headaches. Caffeine is used in some relievers for that purpose.

I suffer from mind numbing headaches all the time. Along with the advice above, it could also be tension headaches. That's what always gets me. Excedrin makes a great "Tension headache" brand that makes mine go away after a while.

Tension and stress are good points. My neck gets really tight from work and lifting which causes me to get headaches pretty often. You'd be amazed how much a deep tissue neck and trap massage can help. Assuming you have a parter, have them give you good massage and see if it helps.

I take excedrine migraine for any headache and it works like gangbusters. It's like a miracle pill. I used to suffer through the pain but now I am free!
That totally sounds like an ad for it.
If you are a soda/coffee drinker and you cut it out cold turkey than that could be the source of it. You body is looking for the caffeine that's usually in there but not any more. That's what would happen to me.
If I have something to eat with my caffeinated beverage I'm usually g2g. Same with chocolate. If I don't and consume both products independently that's when the headache kicks in.

I get migraines a lot. I've had doctors tell me it's because of certain foods, drinks, etc. I used to take Excedrin extra strength for migraines but I built a resistance to that long ago, but I do know it works for people who rarely get headaches. The only thing that helps, for me at least, is a strong cup or two of espresso then a nap in a dark cool room with a bandanna or some type of cloth wrapped *tight* around my head. Usually the headache will be gone by the morning if I go to sleep like that, but I have had headaches/migraines that last 2-3 days. Bottom line, I doubt avoiding any food will help. I'd say Excedrin Migraine is your best bet.

stay dehydrated.
If you suffer from pain behind the eyes especially, it could be caused by sinuses.
