x-men was good, hulk was unbearably dry, haven't properly explored the spider-man series except the vhs releases. batman takes the cake, i'm afraid, for 90s comic cartoons. then spawn and the maxx imo. I disagree about Hulk but I LOVED the Spawn toon. why? It had Chapel. One of the main reason the Spawn movie was a miss for me......No Chapel deprived Spawn of his "Joker". Jessica Priest(ugh) was NO replacement for Chapel. while hulk season 1 certainly had it's high moments, and it's overall portrayal of the characters was excellent and quite dark for it's time, the show dragged simply too hard imo. the overall tempo of the show was like the x-men show hit over the head. i think it has to due with how limited the animation was - they really took it easy and used as little drawing as possible in that show it would seem. and it suffered for it.

Yeah the Animation was very limited.....I also disliked Season 2. But Season 1 does the trick for me I must say. Also loved the 80s Hulk toon.....which reminds me I gotta break that one out on DVD soon too.

After finding out what Thunderbird looked like, I'm pretty sure Thunderbird appeared in a few episodes, but as a background character. I'm sure he was one of the characters in the prison episode, which was Cable's first appearance & I'm pretty sure he's in right at the end of the intro, you know where the characters run into each other before the "X-Men" logo. That was Warpath's original design. Thunderbird wore his headband on the outside, Warpath on the inside, and if memory serves Warpath was the one in the Genosha eps. I loved the X-Men cartoon but only saw a couple episodes of Spider Man. I had Rouge/Storm/Jean Grey figures and i had them marry my TMNT figs. Did you ever see the crossover Spiderman/X-Men episodes? Nah. Were there ever any X-MEN crossovers with other shows? it seems like i remember a different show doing it.

X-Men made a cameo in one of the F4 episodes. A full blown 2 parter cross over in the Spiderman show where all of them helped Spiderman (it's amazing, you should definitely see it). It also had Hob-Goblin voiced by Mark Hammil. Storm was also in several of the "Secret Wars" Spiderman episodes, they also had the F4 and Iron Man in them. Spiderman, War Machine and a few others made unvoiced cameos in the X-Men show. And Captain America had a full blown episode in the final 6. Ghost Rider also makes a cameo in the X-Men when Professor X scans Gambit's mind at some point in the show, and Ghost Rider appeared in the Hulk show. They scheduled for the X-Men to appear in the second season of the Avengers show but the show was cancelled after Season 1.

Spider-man and X-men are gold. There still hadn't been a new Spidey/X-men cartoon that has topped either of those. Spidey is possibly my favorite cartoon ever. Either that or Dexters Lab.
Hulk is pretty good too. I'm still upset that Fox couldn't work out a deal to get Hulk onto the Secret Wars episodes of Spidey.
Fantastic Four is a little notch below Hulk, but still fun to watch
Iron Man is pretty rough, lol

X-Men is my favorite cartoon of all time. I remember being a huge Ninja Turtle fan when I was little and they started showing Turtles and X-Men in the same timeslot on Saturdays. I picked X-Men. I used to have them all taped on VHS until I upgraded to the DVDs when they put them out a few years ago.
SpiderMan was cool too. Wish they would release the seasons on DVD.

It was a rights thing if I remember correctly.....now maybe it has been overcome but about 2 years ago we were talking about cartoon collections on DVD and a guy on here basically called me a liar because I listed all the Marvel stuff. Then more reasonable members filled me in.

I dont know. I've been waiting for years for SpiderMan. I've got the Black Costume/Venom saga and the X-Men episode taped off tv. But I wish the DVDs would hurry up.

LOVED both Spider-Man & The X-Men cartoons. Still to this day I use them as the bench mark to what a good superhero movie or TV show should be.
